What did he say? I'm about to tune in in a bit, but aren't watching yet. Was it about eye pokes or the weigh in towel trick? I know he's spoken about the weigh in towel trick and openly admits to it.
He mentioned in response to the refs being quick to tell fighters to keep their fingers out of the cage these days that when he fought Mir he would drape his arm on the opposite side of the ref over the fence(i assume to leverage with) when grappling Mir along the fence.

Quinones is fighting a smart fight but Mederos got the power and willingness to bang.

@BroRogan are you looking forward to watching Drew Dober fight later?, he has a very strong jawline like your Dinosaur friend, both have that strong jawline.

<45>at the last bit. Always looking forward to Dober fights like you mentioned earlier - always entertaining and funny to watch! Rooting for him every time. Also the fight I'm looking forward the most on tonights card.

On a similar note --

it was fun watching Home Run Derbys and Home Run records during the "good ole days".

Cheating should not be condoned -- but it has provided some solid sports entertainment.
Oh yes!! those were some great moments haha. Yeah you need a bit of that in sports, makes it all unpredictable.

They have tried to make sports too much of a science now, it doesn't flow the same as it used too. Its a shame. Its so robotic now. It was much more human before and that involves some good ole fashioned cheating from time too time haha

Pennington did this and some crybabies bitched about it for a week.

Not trying to sound like a broken record, but I'm really checked out on UFC Fight Night cards for the most part, namely the ones at the APEX.

I know some folks will say the crowds don't make a difference, but to be honest, it does. I'd much rather watch a rough fight in front of fans who're actually responsive than to a rough fight in front of 25 people who're looking at their phones.

UFC Fight Night APEX cards are as dry as eating an unseasoned boneless grilled chicken breast.

"Anytime you touch it"

Apex is so bad. 1 of the reasons the ufc is lacking names. Roundtree is on a crazy run and nobody even knows because his last 3 fights have been in a modern day bingo hall

Mederos has zero striking defense. His defense is to stick his hands out and try to catch something like a net

I don't like it when fighters just square up and stand their ground when its unnecessary, stick and move fighters.
