Obviously you have to account for camera angles and all that, but McG's reach seems about the same as Poirier's, which is supposedly 183cm, while McG's listed as 188cm.

look roughly the same but you should have cut the green line off by the knuckles to be a little more fair.

Well the ms paint lines don't lie

Or really show us anything

The UFC has been known to exaggerate...especially heights.

McG owes his KO of Aldo to his reach.

How the hell did you get that? Aldo rushed in head-first and Conor just stood there and ate Aldo's punch without even trying to slip, reach had nothing to do with it. Not to mention in the first exchange Aldo slipped McGregor's punch and successfully countered with a left hook, so Conor's reach advantage wasn't what Aldo had trouble with: it was McGregor's timing, power, chin, and confidence.

As for TS, those are entirely misleading green lines. They start and end at completely different places along both fighter's arms to make Poirier's seem longer, and reach is measured by wingspan, not armlength anyway.

I'm impressed, TS. Bravo!

Conor threw a left while stepping back and he still connected first. I'm not denying the timing and precision.

They measure from finger tip to finger tip, Conor might have wider shoulder (which I believe he has), you can't tell from that picture.

I think shoulder width comes into account, maybe I'm wrong tho.

That chin difference though.
That's all that matters.

Conor iron chin

You can't beat these threads, they're the best.

Arrows, lines, shadows, wild speculation, numbers, maybe the occasional grid...
