UFC exaggerating McGregor's reach?

His reach has been exaggerated since his debut. There is a video his coach took where they measure his reach for the debut (against Brimage). The guy does a shitty job measuring, but that's where that number comes from. So it's somewhere in the middle.

I've seen it slide by slide. Luke Thomas actually did a breakdown that I created a thread about and it shows it clearly. You can watch it in slow motion as well but Youtube might skip it since it happens so fast and their speed controls suck. Watching it in VLC media player will show it or in a GIF slowed down a lot.

Aldo made mistakes but as Patrick Wyman said maybe only two or three fighters on the whole UFC roster could've countered it when he blitzed in. It's more of what Conor did right and less of what Aldo actually did wrong. The major mistake that Aldo did make was not selling his right hand feint well enough before loading up on his left hook.

I watched the breakdown, very interesting stuff. Too bad UFC sucks so he just had some shitty still shots to work with and it's pretty hard to tell how close the hook was to landing, which even LT admits, but it was definitely at least partially blocked.

Obviously you have to account for camera angles and all that, but McG's reach seems about the same as Poirier's, which is supposedly 183cm, while McG's listed as 188cm.

the last shot aldo throws in the first exchange missed by quite a bit.

Faceplanter already covered that two hooks were thrown, a real one and back up as they separated, still nothing remotely justifying the three feet claim.
