UFC doesn't give over 50k bonuses but One FC just gave a 100k bonus

Yeah they started implementing testing. Not USADA level though, so pretty much the same level as the other promotions.
 
UFC is also known to frequently double the pay for fighters if they like the performance, so 100k instead of 50k is probably less compared what UFC do for many of the fighters

It is in SGD. In terms of exchange rate, it should be close to Canadian Dollar.

50 k with better or globally,better performance, clean fighters rather 100k for beating a fighter two weightclasses below with roids and only south east Asian are watching it.

Yes and also a debutant on the first fight could get that bonus before and maybe even today in ufc.

Randomized testing throughout the year including fight night. It makes it hard to try to cycle PEDs. They also hold your samples for years in order to retest when new detection techniques becomes available. They have a detailed list of what they test for. This includes analogs.

ONE FC's drug test is just one right before the fight and one after the fight. It is the IQ test that people keep talking about.

People here (anti-ufc haters except me) do not understand that UFC has over 500 contracted fighters who are guaranteed 12k as minimum.

No way One has fighters who are getting 10k guaranteed and over 400 contracted fighters.

That's simple, they were just starting out so they are going to be spending more than they profit early on. Their projection is to eventually start making profit, their valuation can be high even before they make it to the green. Most big companies are like that. You are not really going to find major companies in the green from year one. Their valuation goes up first and eventually they get out of the red and start making profits. They wouldn't be able to hand out 50k bonuses for every finish and keep making these broadcasting deals and making big signings if they weren't looking into a net positive future. They control the martial arts market in Asia region, they are working on becoming a big name in the western market. They are going to start doing shows in USA as well. ONE is really going to be UFC's biggest competition. They are doing everything right at the moment and their production value is way better than Bellator's. Also unlike Coker, ONE is trying to beat UFC.

Also Asian countries had the absolute worst covid and travel restrictions and mandates. They are barely starting to allow travel and live events again. So ONE has been doing everything with no live guests or minimal audience participation for the past couple of years.

Another thing to factor in is that ONE has more world champions in combat sports in their roster. Many fighters they sign are already world champions in different combat sports and from different promotions. It's also not just strictly mma, so it's a major promotion for many combat sports and martial arts. This leads to a lot of fighters crossing over to different combat sports that are signed to ONE.

That only benefits champions and only a few UFC champions are really getting high fight purses and are actual needle movers.

He was being marketed that way by ONE as well. He got the extra bonus because the fight delivered. 2 champions and a massive highlight reel finish. He was out cold and they were still working on him during the post fight interview. ONE's events and fighters have more finishes overall in their fights than other promotions. ONE has yellow cards if you are stalling or not engaging/fighting, that's something UFC drastically needs. A yellow card is a 10% reduction on your fight purse and you can get multiple yellow cards in a fight. Basically ONE focuses on finishes and exciting fights, even with their grappling competitions. It's about action and going for the finish, they don't allow any stalling at all.

Yeah Ok, I just read about it. Seems ONE is actually pretty shit for the most part. Apparently those drug tests aren't even real. Or at least they're not done by the World Anti Doping Agency, against former claims that they were by Chatri. Which can only be called highly suspicious.
I'm not super happy about USADA either tbh, but at least they are somewhat transparent about their dealings. I still don't really get why the government doesn't get involved and enforces general rules for drug testing at professional sporting events.
 
ONE is the best org in the world right now by a large margin.

If onefc pays more, then the best fighters will go there.

The reality is they don't and thats why UFC has 95% of top fighters in the world on their roster
 
Both UFC and ONE are shady. UFC doesn't pay the fighters their due, and ONE has been losing money for years, making me wonder where they are getting money from in the first place.
 
difference is ONE/PFL/BELLATOR will publicize everything money related so we have 10 threads like this a day
