I used to LOVE the boxing 24/7 shows and I’ve always been pretty critical of the UFC Countdowns and wish they took some pointers but man are the countdowns ever getting stale. Literally every single one is a repeat of the other ones involving whichever fighter was featured.
Like the UFC marketing team really is terrible at drawing interest or getting us to invest in the fighters more. It’s all so bland there is literally zero creativity. U would think with the amount of money the UFC brings in they would be able to push out a product that gets us fans really hyped up for their events but they just don’t. They NEED better build up shows, I really hope Paramount gets involved and fills this gap.

You better believe after spending $7 Billion that CBS will be airing a countdown show every Sunday after 60 Minutes...

They clewrly dont NEED, you WANT

Financially they are flourishing

I miss the old Rachelle Leah "UFC All Access" shows following fighters leading up to an event. I also loved the SpikeTV special they did ahead of Randy/Chuck III at UFC 57. They used to do cool shit when they were on the come up, but they've been lazy as fuck with their product for at least the last 10 years if not longer.

wwf in the 80s crafted better stories about their wrestlers than the ufc now in 2025
