It won't take down Walz because there is no way that Walz was in on it. This is different from Gaetz picking up homeless 17 year olds to fuck or Trump blocking the Epstein files as they are directly involved in it. Walz at worse had someone who didn't do good checks and balances. Every single governor in every single state could be singled out for fraud going on in their state as their is just too much money flowing around. Is fraud being limited to a reasonable amount usually, probably. In any bureaucracy, there essentially is a fraud tax. The difference here is that Walz and his friends weren't involved in some scheme to benefit from "fraud" that was happening. The whole spotlight on Walz and Minnesota is due to the republican party not liking Walz because he draws support from both sides of the aisle.

You don’t think he should have questioned why his budgets were being exceeded by 1000% or more?

He’s either a complete buffoon and a moron

Or he was at least aware there was massive fraud and like the rest of his admin… was afraid of being called racist for calling it out

You don't understand how little of the budget this was nor would you expect Trump to have a finger on every instance of military waste and pork belly contracts.

Both dudes are knuckleheads for sure. But timing and optics definitely don't favor Walz in anything right now.

Minnesota is not a state that any serious republican candidaite should waste time in. It's perpetually a blue state for all of history. It was the only state that wasn't red in the 1984 election.

TLDR: Minnesota?? screw it, lets have some fun and toss Lindell out there.

Of their last 5 governors, 2 were Dem, 2 were Republicans, and 1 was the independent Jessie Ventura

Minnesota’s governorship could absolutely be won by a sane Republican
 
I spent some time in Minnesota 20 years ago. I have never even thought about going back once.

It's one of those states where there's just no reason to go there.
