It's hard to describe how much I hate Rogan these days. He makes me embarrassed for humanity, and viscerally disgusted. I hope he vanishes from the public's eye.

You're joking right? It's a torrent, there's all sorts of connections coming in, that doesn't mean they're watching you man... like how did you even come to the conclusion they were "watching" you? The FBI and CIA have MUCH bigger fish to fry than some guy downloading music and videos on his computer. They're not going to waste time and resources to track down a guy listening to Wiz Khalifa. Show me the court cases based on people getting arrested for downloading personal music... I'm waiting.

I came to the conclusion they were watching because I was tracking every single connection/IP/organization that was going through my router. As soon as I turned on the torrents the alphabet agencies started connecting to me, I have a program that shows the IP location and what organization the IP originates from.

It's not that they'll hunt you down over Wiz Khalifa, it's that they build dossiers on every single individual and they can use it against you whenever the they want. The torrent programs are almost definitely honeypots... to which I say fuck all that I'll just pay for music.

Spotify UI to me is absolute trash. Very slow and clunky and I have a new phone. Tidal, YouTube music, Google podcasts and Apple music are all far better. I'll listen to his podcast whenever he has an interesting guest on but I'm not going to pay premium.

You know that people do that as a legal defense right? Same way Fox News claimed it's entertainment not news, and Facebook and Twitter claim they are platforms and not publishers. Fox and Alex Jones have made outrageous claims, some true some false, and Twitter and Facebook are publishers that restrict content and violate copyright laws millions of times a day, but also allow free expression most of the time.
CNN and FOX have x many million viewers a day and both lie all the time. This is the world we live in.

I don't know if something's wrong with me, or that I'm getting irritated more easily now, but recently I've noticed I cannot really listen to Rogan
much. In the past he seemed like this smart guy, but now when he has some guest that is not dumb, Rogan just seems bewildered every third smart sentence.
A lot of times he will just stare and not even blink, some people are saying he is such a good listener, moderates the discussion perfectly etc., but you can tell that a lot of times he is just trying to understand what he guests are saying. Granted that a lot of his guests are fucking smart, but Joe does that blank stare a lot.

Another thing that I've noticed is that he is just repeating a lot of what the guests say, just paraphrasing, like he is trying to say something for the sake of saying something.
And he will freakin repeat some really BASIC ideas like 5 times, paraphrasing and asking the same questions over and over again, like old people tend to do.
At one point when he was interviewing Musk the second time I was like "I'm not sure if I can handle watching that further". It was so cringy, seeing Musk visibly be like "Yyy, Joe, I've answered this question like 3 times already, it's a simple concept, why do you have to waste my time asking the same fucking question?", time that could have been spent on asking a lot better questions and different ones as well. I'm not even sure he asked him 1 space question for the whole 3h. Maybe one or two.
Now I'm watching the Matthew McConaughey podcast and I'm not even 20 minutes in and he is just asking 5 questions around the same topic and repeating what Matthew just said.
"I drink water"
Joe "Yea, drinking water is such an important part of life"
"I exercise"
Joe "Yeah, exercising is such an important part of life, I cannot stress that enough"
"I write everything I need to do, like take duce" (joking)
"OH really?? Do you really write down you need to take a duce? "

Jesus Christ, it's unbearable sometimes.

He does have good moments of course and interesting guests, but he is definitely on the decline, unless he has always been like that and I just hasn't noticed because, admittedly, I'm not watching too much of Joe's podcasts. I watch some of them, based on who is invited.

Spotify annoys me with the recurring payments. I can't stand paying for something that I'm not using anymore and you can't unsubscribe on the app, you need to go onto the actual website and I think they made it this way so people just won't bother unsubscribing. I take that as a personal insult and so I'm not using Spotify anymore.
