Look at Nate Diaz. He didn’t move the needle, got paid around 20k to show, until he fought Conor and made a name for himself. Now Dana says he’s a big draw and he gets paid accordingly. Worth is defined as what you bring to the company.

Because Im a fight fan. Been watching since ufc 6. UFC has the best combat sports model around and if it changes the sport will die.

Pay has continuously gone up in the ufc over the years. Go google what Nate Quarry was paid to fight Rich Franklin for the 185 title, then google what Izzy and Romero/Costa made.

Majority of fighters do not live in relative poverty. Brazilian fighters who live in the favelas live in relative poverty.
