I'd be pretty surprised if he misses weight tbh. I could be wrong but I think I've heard some guys say they wait a bit to weigh in because there's such a logjam with everyone trying to weigh in as early as possible.
I feel like getting there the soonest for an extra hour or two to rehydrate would be everyone's strategy. Glad he's good

Here's Barboza wheel kicking Etim.

Hey everyone! New here. Just wanted to ask. How does Borralho get a chance at Back up with a scheduled fight already. And up to how many back ups are recruit for a main event like this?
Thanks

Bryan Battle fight is cancelled guys, just read about it, its not happening.

What a disaster, how many times has he missed weight now?, this must be like the 3rd or 4th time.

I just saw that Battle missed weight and his fight is cancelled. What did he weigh?

Anyone know why Rodrigo Sezinando vs Daniil Donchenko got cancelled?

Hi Cluch.

It's funny because Nassourdine Imavov was originally intended to be the backup fighter, but when his bout with Caio Borralho got booked, he posted something along the lines of "Not the back up fight anymore. Conditions Changed".

So I guess once Imanov got an official fight scheduled, he no longer wanted to be a backup. But UFC still needed one, so they went with his opponent instead, Borralho.

And up to how many back ups are recruit for a main event like this?

In terms of how many back ups are typically recruit for a main event like this, the answer is either 0 or 1.

Having said that, what the UFC will often do for security, is have a second featured bout from the same division on the card, so worst case scenario they could pull from one of those two fighters.

Many longtime fans could imagine a headline along the lines of: KHAMZAT INJURED. BORRALHO MISSES WEIGHT. MICHAEL PAGE STEPS IN TO FIGHT FOR THE TITLE.

Then within less than 48 hours we've all got to adjust to Dricus du Plessis vs. Michael Venom Page.

UFC can be wild like that sometimes.

190.

It sounds like Sezinando got injured earlier in the week, but we probably only found out now since the last episode of TUF 33 just finished airing.

4 great fights on this card. Definitlwy order worthy but im concerned.

Last few ppvs ESPN+ fixed the glitches - do they turn them back on now ? An it goes back to freezing once a fight

Wow! Yes! This is a great fight! May the better man win between Khamzat and Du Plessis! I can't wait!
