UFC 313 main card?

I really don't think UFC care at this point.

Like Cody Brundage vs the bearded guy was co-main.

Those two with all due respect might not be a good co-main on Cage warriors.

I know it was fight night card or whatever, but still.

I really don't think UFC cares. It's just entertainment first now.
THE UFC does themselves no favors with their bout order. Ribovics/Haqaprast should've been co-main, with Johnson/Temirov opening the maincard. Brundage/Beard should've opened the prelims.

Still wouldn't have been a great card but with Hyder/Gomi, the 2 FLW fights, & Ribovics/Haqaprast the maincard would've looked much better on paper. The UFC always have to put a turd in the punch bowls that are FN maincards. Super weird.

yeah true I agree still a dogshit card it was tho haha

but ufc don't really care about signing best fighters or pitting them together and it shows

UFC holds a different card practically every week. All the top talent still fights, it's just spread out more.

Why has no one mentioned that Fiziev is replacing Hooker due to injury.

Dude I know all about UFC have followed them since they were owned by SEG up to now, I think it's a disgrace that people support them over other legit organizations Idgaf about being entertained I never got into watching nhb/mma for that reason if I want to be entertained I'll watch a movie.
It's prize fighting man. There have always been both champions and guys who are there to put asses in seats.

It wasn't prize fighting in the nhb era hell even in the mma era, you are thinking from an American boxing perspective, another thing I don't care for that much boxing for the same reasons as modern UFC.

This is a just bleed card.

Only one who can stop it is Ankalaev.

But Lord Alex will do his best to stop him.
It is a bleed card but the main event is solid, finally a main event where the two best in their division are fighting each other.

Too bad every fight on the undercard either sucks or is a last minute cancellation. Wonder if Blades pulled out because his balls hurt.

I'm not. Muay Thai in Thailand is the same way. There is always a crowd pleaser fight in spot 2 or 3 on the main card. If it wasn't prize fighting in the nhb era then what was it? Are you claiming that the most un-regulated era in MMA history was the pinnacle of it's "sportiness"?

Somebody ban this guy please
Ban seems harsh, but this is definitely the dumbest thread I have seen on Sherdog in quite a long time. There are white belt threads and then there are threads like this...

I don't think you even know what "Prize fighting " means so what was the prize in the NHB era then because there was next to no money involved, people participated to prove themselves and their style, country and gym, again the idea of prize fighting comes from American boxing which has become corrupt non-sense. When and where did I say that NHB was the pinnacle of the sport.

There is next to no money in Muay Thai either. You're right there wasn't much money around back then, but look who came to and started to take over the sport in the early days. Collegiate wrestlers who had finished their careers and had no money/job prospects. A little money is better than no money, especially when it's something you are already familiar with.
