Not sure if you're being serious, but I had the same thought.Nearly said so when the thread was first posted but didn't for some reason.

Also, on Buckley - I liked the call out, and, can't fault him for it nor what he's saying here either.

And with Wonderboy too, didn't he go public trying to press Dana and co into paying him for a fight he didn't end up fighting in or something? Dana hates that shit being public and holds grudges.

Harrison would be better on the prelims for the exposure. WB is 41 and on the back nine and is not in the good graces of the promotion after outing the company for not paying his show money to reject Pereira after missing weight. This is a setup by the UFC to get WB out of the Top 10 and feed him to the other up and coming WW killers (Moraes, etc). Buckley outwrestled that 6'5" Ruiziboev and I expect him to do the same to WB.

I used to like Wonderboy but the way he rank squats is just so infuriating. I'm glad to see him getting moved out of the way. We need new blood there. Hopefully Belal actually does fight Shavkat next and we can see some fresh contenders in the mix.

Remember when GSP went his entire title reign without rematching anybody? The only rematches he had were Hughes and Serra, and neither got multiple title shots during his long reign.

We need that again. These fucking rematches have paused the division for 5+ years.

My point was more that from what I remember Buckley used to be a stand and bang type of fighter but has started to use more of a wrestling approach and made it work

How do you feel about it? I'd put Holland/Dolidze as the last prelim or maybe Kayla/Vieira and let Wonderboy and Buckley open up the main card.

I tend to agree, but I'm not mad about it -- Holland is always a top sell. Damn this is a stacked card.

On a solid PPV card I would say 2024 Wonderboy vs Buckley is a perfect prelim headliner. You want something exciting in that spot.

I don't watch WMMA (nothing against it I just don't watch/enjoy those fights) so it makes the main PPV a little watered down for me personally.
