Remember when Frankie developed that outstanding standup of his? I've never seen anything like it. He came in as a great wrestler and then learned that herky jerky remarkably effective style seemed like overnight. I watched his entire UFC career and I loved it.

The striking wasnt 50/50 in the first, Allen was clearly ahead by a large margin, those takedowns lasted 5 seconds each and Allen rolled out of most of them

Not one significant strike but yeah sure Allen was ahead by a large margin. He actually got rocked a few times even in round 1 and wouldn’t engage. He was there to throw counter punches and failed at that too. He outstruck his opponent only in round 3 and that’s after he compromised the dude with several illegal shots.

Because the only thing Allen landed was 3 blatantly illegal knees.

Well and a few good shots in the very beginning.

But Evloev didn't anything that round. Allen didn't lose any points for those knees so that point is moot. He also pushed the pace most of the round and finished strong. He clearly won R3.

I thought the judges scored this one right.
