I wonder if they will make Moreno and Pantoja fight five times too.

I can’t see how Jaír beats volk

A kick ko early on maybe

That’s about it

That’s about it.

As someone who fully admits to being an asshole at times, I cannot see any world where a person enjoying things just because others don't isn't a pitiful, pathetic asshole. At least to some degree.

I mean, that's just me. Also, Volk is winning

Its a fair question.
I mean he could've commentated on how much success the left hook was having and how they tackled the boxing of Moreno with kicks and tight combos or if he planned on being able to control Moreno despite Moreno being a skilled grappler in his own right.
Questioning if a man was willing to quit in a fight he was winning is odd.

i judge fights based on the new unified rules where grappling and control only come into effect after damage is considered. brandon did more damage by a fair margin.
I'm a big fan of Moreno but thats not how they score fights. if Moreno lands a few good shots and then spends the next 4 minutes defending chokes on the ground he should still win the round?

forget all the other rounds, but round 5, i think its pure robbery to give this round to Pantoja....For what? Because he was hanging on for dear life on Moreno's back? I think its a horrible way to score round 5 where Moreno was destroying Pantoja on the feet for majority of that round before a stalemate where literally nothing happened...

Ive said this more and more in recent events where im noticing judges are falling back into the "pillow wrestling" phase from GSP days, where a single takedown or any grappling whats so ever instantly overrides anything else leading up to the grappling...which is just stupid...

In round 5, Moreno clearly was the aggressor for those who count that as 1 of the criteria, Moreno clearly did the most damage in that round, and clearly landed the best power shots of the round before the eventual stalemate, so how does Pantoja get that round? based off of what? He isnt in control of that position, that position is a stalemate, Pantoja has to hang on or he is going to fall down if he tries anything significant, how is that position scoring that much to override everything else that happened in that round for 3 and a half minutes?

Im not going to say who should have won or who i thought won cuz its not about that for this thread, but im more shocked at how people are giving these rounds away at any sign of grappling just instantly ignoring anything that happened for majority of the round just a few seconds or minutes prior, wild to me.

I agree. Morena clearly had the most damaging shots. I thought you only went to control if you couldn't split then from effective striking/grappling. Hanging on the back isn't effective striking or grappling. It is control and little more. The few shots few threw were solely to stop ref seperating them.

gonna be hard to live up to the last fight. Hoping it somehow out-does it though.

Leaning Volk but if Yair lands something out of nowhere and wins, wouldn't shock me.
