DDP wins easily. We'll see in a few weeks. My opinion.....

Because if Bruson lasts the first round, he gasses.

This one smells like a 'passing of the torch' type of fight, hence the thread. It looked like Cannonier turned Brunson into a vegetable. Who knows when the damage will catch up
He's had a bunch of fights at WW and he looked about the same size as Till when they fought. He's a little bigger than Till but not much. He hasn't grappled much in the UFC which is normally more taxing than striking, especially when someone is on top of you punching you.Dricus seems pretty damn big to me. He said he's 210lbs on fight night, and he's shredded at that weight too. I'm not sure why you think he's on the smaller side for MW.
Also, he almost always increases his output in later rounds, so I'm not sure that his cardio is as bad as it looks either.
His tdd is still a question mark, though.
I'm surprised nobody is talking about how Brunson displayed 6 minute cardio against Cannonier. Listen, Cannonier is a beast and he did very well in the first round. I get it but I think this is the fight where DDP has his coming out party.Since any more Diamond Dallas Page references would be redundant at this point; and since I'm a bit bitter about getting beaten to the punch by 1/2 of the users on this site:
Brunson's the man; but at 39 y/o, having suffered 6 KO/TKOs (including being KO'd in his last fight) against Du Plesis who is 10 years younger and has only been stopped by strikes one time 4+ years ago in his entire career , the odds make ("oddsmaker") sense to me.

Are you sure? I was quite the super fan and never heard that angle.DDP actually was the guy who ended Goldbergs streak ( house show test ). Fans almost rioted so they acted like it never happened and came up with the stupid stun gun storyline..

Looks like I did miss remember... it wasn't DDP, who admitted getting skipped over cause Goldberg had some magazine covers and appearances coming up...Are you sure? I was quite the super fan and never heard that angle.
DDP by Diamondcutter RD2 heard it here first
I wouldn't bet on this fight, too unpredictable IMO. DDP has only had to defend 3 takedowns in the UFC and he failed to stop one of them, his cardio also isn't that good and he's on the smaller side for MW.
Brunson has a bad chin and cardio but I can see him dominating DDP on the ground. I don't expect the fight to be competitive but either of them could be the hammer.
This is a sensible comment overall, but DDP, small for mw?! He's yoked and probably around 210 in the cage!
Not even tryin to lie that's where my brain went lol
I don't watch WWE.
