UFC 228 - Till V Woodley

I hit that Zabit/Davis Over 1½ at -125 and -127 to win 2u.

So many of you are so clueless about the kind of fighter Tyron Woodley is

Tyron Woodley has only secured 5 takedowns in his entire UFC career and you think he's going to out wrestle Till for 5 rounds lol

He fights in such a conservative manor because he's terrified of gassing out, thats also why he rarely uses his wrestling offensively. His cardio is so suspect and anyone that pushes a pace on him is going to give him big problems. Till isn't going to fight like Wonderboy or Maia, he's going to push a pace that Woodley can't handle.

I suggest you Woodley backers watch Inisde the Octagon, Dan Hardy breaks it down very well.
I’m on Till but there’s no reason to think he’s going to push any kind of pace on Woodley. Till throws less SPM then Wonderboy.

well till did say that woodley reacts badly to pressure. i wouldn't be surprised if till comes out all guns blazing.

Lol woodley up to +130

Please keep hammering till

Adding to woodley before till misses weight

You guys that are focusing a lot on Till's wrestling (or lack of it) may have a point BUT you also better realize that even if his technique isn't amazing he is a naturally WAY bigger guy than Woodley. And a hell of a lot physically stronger than Wonderboy. If Woodley is pushing any sort of a grappling gameplan, it's gonna wear on his cardio a hell of a lot more in trying to move a guy Till's size around than it would be moving a smaller WW around. That's just plain and simple physics. When I used to do grappling tourneys I would almost always tire a lot faster vs bigger guys, even if their technique wasn't as good as some of the smaller guys I'd roll with.

I agree but when you look at this fight, exploiting the wrestling advantage is a clear way for Woodley to win. Woodley will definitely go for takedowns to secure rounds though. I think we forget how good his wrestling is. He's on a different planet to Till in terms of wrestling pedigree anyway. If Woodley is not implementing that gameplan then he is not doing it because he knows he doesn't have the gas to implement it. Maybe that's the case. If he had shown a 5 round wrestling gas tank in recent fights I think he would be a max bet.

Not just recent fights, I honestly can't remember him really ever using a super wrestle-heavy gameplan. He absolutely has the technique and physical ability to take Till down and hold him there. But I don't think he has the gas tank to do it very long at all (and I think he absolutely knows it). The wrestling advantage was just as clear vs Wonderboy, and Woodley hit what, 2-3 total takedowns in 10 rounds of fighting? Woodley's physique is the kind that uses huge amounts of oxygen when he exerts himself. Kudos to him for realizing it and adapting his style to recognize it (and being good enough to win and defend the title multiple times) but I think the run ends here.

I threw a hundy on a parlay of Suarez/Esparza Over 2½ + Andrade/KK Over 2½ at +103.

I don't understand this movement towards Stewart. Byrd is going to gas him hard with the grappling and then take him out.

Charles Byrd price improved to -170 vs Darren Stewart at 5Dimes. Hit it to win 2u.

Stewart has looked decent in his last 2 outings, even against Marquez. Byrd hasn't really impressed me, he was even odds with SBG fuckknuckle since his striking isn't great, and the SBG dude had the worst sub defense I've seen outside of Melvin GUillard.

Zabit x Davis under 1.5 @2.10

Zabit is going to kill Davis in the first. 1u on this under 1.5

I really like the over in this case. Zabit takes some time to finish his opponents.

Byrds striking looks much better than Stewarts and Stewart looks poor enough on the ground. I think Stewart is pretty bad overall.
