UFC 217 - Bisping vs GSP - NYC

After watching that Kennedy fight I don't know how anyone can bet on Bisping

Kennedy dominated bisping really badly with a wrestling based attack. He was the last strong wrestler bisping faced

Bisping has been training for strikers for the past few years who aren't going to force a takedown so can' be sure how polished his td defences are these days

We know gsp is the ultimate winner in mma. He knows how to win fights. 90% of his fights are dominating wins. Bisping on the other hand makes absolute mountains out of his fights and has life or death struggles in 90% of his fights

With that in mind a play on Bisping is indeed a risky play here

He is never dominant in a fight
He has been out with a knee injury
Last time he faced a wrestler who was determined to wrestle he was mauled

Gsp is not an idiot, I believe as soon as bisping won that belt he had designs to take it from him and has been training accordingly for him. Bisping has been out having life and death struggles getting savage beatings

I can't believe I'm saying this as I was so so strongly on Bisping when the right was announced but I think gsp is the play

Large Plays:
GSP - Many people seem to be forgetting just how electric GSPs takedowns are and how stiff and accurate his jab is. Bisping constantly alerting us about these weapons like he has them figured out is simply a bluff and one that GSP is laughing at.
What was so impressive about Bispings life and death performance to beat Henderson that we now think he should be a clear favorite over GSP? Old, stiff and stationary Hendo, Hendo the Hanchor.

Corey Anderson - Played it earlier this week at +150. I like Corey in the wrestling, cardio and point striking departments. I have also seen OSP hopeless in trying to turn around fights he isnt winning, but isnt getting hurt in. Hope Corey doesnt get caught.

Blaydes / JJ ML Combo - Two of the 'safest' plays on the board. I dont think Oleynik is big enough, or hits hard enough to KO Blaydes and Blaydes isn't going to give up or Gas like Browne. I don't think Oleynik has much gas left tbh.

Borrachinha 1st Round - Snagged it at + 230. I'd feel like an absolute idiot for not taking this big + money bet when Hendricks wants to try out his 'new soon to be unstoppable' standup game against a guy with 9 inches reach as well as a power and massive confidence (in cage confidence) advantage.

Medium Plays:
JJ by KO - Im not confident that Rose can keep it together for 5 rounds. I have a feeling we could see a standing stoppage from the ref as Rose can't figure out what else to do on the feet after going all out in the first two rounds.

SOON to be TJ ML - The odds have been trending up (around +160 at the top of the market as I type this) in this one recently and I feel like it will keep going in this direction. I think this will be a razor close, uncertain decision and favor Cody slightly. The 'beef' is not going to see its way into the octagon, I would favor Cody if I thought it was just going to be a stand and bang affair, but I think TJ will step in on some takedowns, scare him with some kicks and survive Codys crisp boxing.

Also playing:
Wonderboy by decision
Vick by Submission flier at +600

Juiced Kennedy could take down any MW. He was taking down Jacare but was just afraid to play in his guard.

Gsp can probably take down any middleweight too

Bisping already admits a welterweight gsp rag dolled him years ago. I have no reason to believe a mw gsp can't ragdoll him too

Remember gsp knows how to win fights and win rounds, this is his forte

He only has to win 3 rounds out of 5

I believe he can definitely do that against bisping who likes to press forward in his attack which is ideal for gsp to get a takedown

It doesn' have to be pretty it doesn' have a savage KO or to be a dominant beating, it just has to be 3 rounds to 2.

Gsp can definitely do that as he is the expert point fighter and round winner

GSP trained with Bisping before Bisping even knew what a Double Leg was.

If WW GSP can take down any MW, why couldn't he take down Hendricks

Son. You're not going to like this news, but betting on Duffy is a #Casualplay as the McGregor link, along with Irish degenerates, has meant that Duffy has been consistently juiced throughout his lackluster UFC career. Vick's 7-1 at LW, whilst Duffy's UFC career is marked by that most Irish thing of a glorious defeat. Dude's out of his depth on the ground, and is going to learn about the amount of levels in this sport.

a black belt in Japanese jiu jitsu and a brown belt in Brazilian with 12 submissions is out of his depth with James Vick on the ground?

LOL

Tape says other wise

Some people are betting a guy who was panic wrestling, pulling guard, and needed a Hail Mary overhand right to to win a fight against a dude a weight class under him and is one of the worst fighters in the UFC. I can not let this go unnoticed, please it’s not too late to switch over to Randy Brown... do it now full throttle.

Hedged out of my Harris bet, feels good. Shouldn't be betting -300 on a guy that is 3-5 in the organisation, he'll probably win but I want no part.

Sharp plays, running the game right now, 7-1 on my last 8 bets which included several underdogs

UFC 217 plays
Masvidal
Brown
Duffy
Anderson

Easy work lets go, gang gang

Thats a good point regarding Hendricks but Hendricks is an elite wrestler who has wrestled since childhood and was 200 pounds on steroids that fight.

Plus gsp did take him down but didn' do much of anything with it

I' say that Hendricks will be harder to takedown and grapple than bisping. Go rewatch Kennedy dominate him. He consistently catches him with big shots too, Bisping has really poor striking defense which leads me to believe gsp should be very effective with his jab too

Bisping is best at stuffing the td. Once he td is complete he has a harder time.

So George with a strong effective jab adding up points and a takedown once or twice per round for 3 rounds will win him the fight on the scorecards

It's so dangerous to be big on either fighter really I think but I believe gsp the previous goat has enough in him to take 3 rounds from Michael bisping

Beniel Dariush, when he's on, is a top 10 LW. He was outstriking Edson Barboza till Edson pulled out that miracle knee (I mean, I bet on Edson ITD, but I wasn't expecting it like that.). Poirer who ragdoll'd Duffy when he felt the need, despite not being a particularly notable grappler, is half the fighter than Beneil is.

Can't understand all this money coming in on Ramos....Zahabi had a lackluster UFC debut but I feel like he has the ability to fend off any sub attempts by Ramos and win the fight wherever it takes place

You played yourself & took any credibility away with the last part of your post buddy. Are you Beneil’s like cousin or something?

So what would make you think that he’s going to implement a take down heavy gameplan?
