@MMA Goodfella just finished watching tape on Anderson and OSP, I'm with you on Anderson, I think he should be favoured, as long as the chin holds up we win.

Skill wise Anderson is better everywhere and his cardio and pace is on another level. OSP hasn't gotten a KO since USADA came around, he looks flat in his performances.I think Anderson is going to outwork him, take him down and possibly get a late finish.

Anderson may not have a great chin but he's got heart, the same can't be said about OSP, we know he likes the quit.

Awesome! Glad I’m not on a island all alone on this pick. I so agree that barring a quick 1st round TKO that Corey consistently puts OSP on his back and potentially gets a late sub.

OSP also has very shaky cardio and the longer the fight goes the more I five or I cardio machine like Anderson. I’m sorry but OSP’s last two victories over Okami and Rogerio de Lima do nothing for me. Those were basically warm bodies for a OSP to get wins over to stay employed in the UFC in its most shallow division save for the incredulous heavyweight class. Let’s being honest, had OSP not defeated Okami and Rogerio and was coming in having lost 3 of his last 4 and 5 of his last 9 fights since Bader, I suspect Corey Anderson is either the favorite or else this fight is -115 apiece. Fighting and beating Okami and Rogerio de Lima doesn’t change this for me whatsoever.

I want to bet corey i really do but betting on a chinny fighter is not elite when hes facing a heavy hitter. Think #elite to be #elite
You have a point but I think the odds should be reversed. If OSP doesn't KO Corey and do so early he is very likely to lose this fight.

Corey will break him with his pace and wrestling, not a good match up for OSP who's skills are overrated, he's just a dangerous, opportunistic finisher but he's got major flaws.

OSP hasn't looked the same since USADA showed up and his last two wins are over easy opponents. Before that OSP was losing a lot of fights and seemed on the downside of his career.

Corey is 6 years younger, still improving and training with a great coach in Mark Henry, OSP has not evolved in years and still trains with a bum team.

OSP is a quitter and his cardio sucks, Corey has some of the best cardio in the division and is relentless with his pressure.

I think quite a few of us are on Anderson. It was talked about earlier.

I see it the same way, Anderson should be favoured, this is his fight to lose. OSP is on the downside of his career and beating De Lima and Okami does not make me think differently.

Anderson motivated, 10x more heart than OSP

Fuckin love Ohm, gonna have about 150 on GSP +700 by fight time for the ultimate freeroll on Bisping.

It’s elite when OSP has dropped 3/4 and 5/8 fights since been blanketed by Ryan Bader. That’s Ryan Bader who is coincidentally a fighter who has a game very similar to Corey Anderson. Forget OSP‘s last two fights because you might as well have picked two dudes from the bleachers. Moreover, OSP is 34 years old with a lot of mileage on the odometer while Anderson is a fresh bodied 28-y/o youngster who is still progressing. Furthermore, CA has a lot more natural mixed martial arts ability than OSP does. To me,
Andersen reminds me of a watered-down Rashad Evans in his prime. And a watered down Evans circa 2011 is a pretty goddamn good fighter.

Corey is fast, agile, long and lanky and has an excellent blast double and single leg takedown. He is also excellent at controlling his opponent in the clinch and is a cardio machine. OSP has proven to have a gas tank that as shallow as a thimble and that he can be taken down and controlled against good wrestlers.

Finally, you have to keep in mind that this isn’t a tapology contest and we’re not picking a straight up winner here but rather playing the odds. And at +145 the line on Corey dictates a play in my humble opinion. At +145 the sports books are giving Corey barely a 41% chance to win this fight while having OSP as 63% likelihood of getting his hand raised. I find that it is 50 / 50 fight at the best.

Lilnicky hashtag makes me want to believe so bad

Vick got hammered across all books a couple hours ago

That was actually a really crafty setup, Gall shoulder cranked him into the haymaker. Brown has had his back taken 4 times in 5 UFC fights. He throws a lot of naked leg kicks and Gall is great at catching them. I do favour Brown but wouldn't go big with how often he gives up his back. I ended up freerolling my .5u Gall +140, gonna pass here and hope for good lb.
That was blind luck. Look at the expression on Gall's face when it landed. Even he didn't expect that shit to land.

lol what? how is that not a line error (im not familiar w Ohm)

Corey is the better fighter and i want to bet him but his chins a liability. He got kod by a fuckin gassed villante in r3. An ancient shogun dropped him hard twice. Manuwa one punched him. That chin dude

im thinking Bisping/GSP is going to be a pretty competitive fight, and I think Bisping is going to come out on top. With that being said, Bisping by split decision at +754 is worth a flier, right?

savage :D Rose looking like a little girl here

OSP was losing to De Lima and got fortunate that Lima has no gas and tried to throw a kick at him in round 2. OSP won’t take Anderson down, and I don’t see him as having a major advantage on the feet.

Beastin gonna grind away... go big or go home Brown, Anderson and Ramos are my big #elite plays this event barley any juice paid lesssss go

Hmm find it kind of odd using OSP's latest two oppoenents against him or his losing 4/5 before that. I understand they may not raise his profile, but is De Lima really worse than who Corey has beaten? His best win is probably Jan B who gases and has terrible tdd. Everyone who has beaten OSP on the other hand probably sparks Corey. I thought he beat Volkan fwiw, then you have Jones, Jimi (who killed corey real quick like), and Glover. Corey gets ran through by all of them besides maybe Volkan. And apparently that dude has dynamite in his hands so wouldn't be surprised if he took him out too. Agree he has the better skillset, but dat chin vs a heavy hitter....no thanks.

Rather play OSP rd 1 or KO and lb Anderson after the 1st.

I think osp is gonna starch corey in the first. Everyone discredits his last 2 wins. But momentum and confidence are both real things in sports. Cant get mad at people betting corey since he has a path to victory and + next to his name but i think the chin gets cracked here..seems like a good live bet fight osp will come out strong prolly and if he dont finish lb corey. Too bad i dont have lb :(

Haha @Stunna77 i was writing mine before i saw your post we pretty much said the exact same thing. Great minds think alike lol
