So what you're saying is that bisping deals out beatings that end careers? I'm picking up what you're putting down.

I'm going to need @Joseph Budden to confirm this so that I know I've indeed made an #eliteplay.
Yes under -200 the ginger gets my #sealofapproval. Seems like a very straight forward fight where it will be a boxing match and the ginger and is much better technically in that area. I have roughly 3.5u between -160 to -180. Might've been 5u but lets keep in mind Duffy is a ginger with the personality of dry paint. You can't trust soft spoken gingers to overcome any adversity.

Look at the UFC MW rankings. Bisping is not a top 5 MW. The only fighter I'd take him over in the current top 10 is Anderson Silva, and that'd come down to whether 'I'm only here for a highlight reel KO' Silva attended or one with a modicum of interest in winning a decision.

"ish"

I'm not trolling. You, yourself, said you believe everything GSP is saying because he's smart. GSP said he's currently better than he ever was.

You actually said you think GSP will look 85-90% of his prime which is just complete nonsense. No offence, but it just is. He's 36 years old and coming off a 4 year layoff, ACL/MCL surgery on both knees and he also hasn't fought since USADA.
Again with the PED accusations and stupid exaggerations. Just stop.

And about 90% of that is wolf tickets. He says he never stopped training the whole time he was away. I think he learned a lot in that time.

There's no way he trained the same when he hasn't fought for four years. How would he maintain the same kind of intensity of an active fighter when he retired.

You stop. You're being delusional. This is professional sports. Before USADA he had traps growing out of his traps, now he's fat and has a clear HGH gut.

The tj/cody breakdown was 100% spot on imo
Technical analysis sounded solid, but no mention that Cruz fought Coby with a bum leg. I'm not sure how big factor that is though.

I'm sorry bro. I know you're a big fan of GSP but, like most fighters, the man is delusional. Of course he's going to tell himself he's a better version than he was in his prime, but anyone with common sense knows that's BS. He can't even hit pads without looking stiff anymore.
Lol how do you get better at something by not doing it for 4 years?

Unless he’s been in an intergalactic alien fight club all this time...

Because he's smart bro. Not delusional at all even though he blames CTE time loss on aliens.

Also wasn't on any steroids at all, even though he avoided USADA testing before the Condit fight and had delts and traps that aren't attainable without anabolic steroids.

Just caught that detail. Who the hell suggested he will look better than his prime? Stop trolling, it's a bad look on you.
And betting is the whole point of this thread, isn't it? If we always knew the outcome with 100% certainty they wouldn't call it gambling. I'd take a side wager with you on that but the statement is nebulous. Who is to judge "doesn't even look close to it"? I think he's going to perform well, win or lose.
Gap suggested it lol

Lol I hadn’t seen recent pics of him until this.

Bisping is going to smash him

And full disclosure: I was always a fan of gsp, never liked bisping

i dont put too much into weigh ins or staredowns but to me hendricks looked aloof.

i think he was actually talking to himself for a second after the "nice to meet you."

paulo appers to be a poor and ambitious brazilian thats wants to get paid, not make friends

In my case, I listen to the things he says, and I believe him (don't laugh.) He always said he would need a lot of time to put on sufficient useful weight to fight at MW and he's had that time. He was also burnt right out and so I think the rest from the pressures of defending the title has been a huge help to him, not a hindrance. I guess we'll see come fight time.

Have you seen his training video at 185?

Here are the amount of career wins Bisping's victims have gotten after he beat them

Hendo: 0
Silva: 1 (a robbery win at that)
Leites: 2
Dollaway: 1
Le: 0
Belcher: 0
Stann: 0
Miller: 0
Rivera: 1
Akiyama: 1

And the thing is that most of these victories aren't that decisive. Hendo/Silva/Leites were all coinflips that Bisping won at home, CB Dollaway gave him the business in round 1 and almost caught him in rd 3 even after getting KO'd by Machida's corpse. And everything preceding that were against guys on the way out the door.

Sure he's been active and he's been winning, but he wasn't that good in his prime and he hasn't been performing well in the wins. He merely has a luckbox that has been carrying him through and masking his age. He looked like complete ass vs Hendo and frankly wasn't great in any of the prior fights, and has aged 13 months since.

I can't imagine anybody actually wanting to bet on Bisping. The dude is trash.

Does this REALLY matter? I don't see a shred of evidence that it does. He has had plenty of time to train for this fight, and he is training intelligently with access to top notch resources. Ring rust isn't a real thing.
So GDP retires after this fight?

Because he's the GOAT and he's fighting a dude who was never nearly as good and is 2 years older.
Isn't bisping only loss to a guy not on juice rock hold? And he got that one back. Gsp may or may not be on it still

And about 90% of that is wolf tickets. He says he never stopped training the whole time he was away. I think he learned a lot in that time.
Or it's wolf tickets that he never stopped training

And I get it, 4 years is a long time and you are all extremely shook by it. So I don't want to debate that point ad nauseum.

The point I'm more interested in-- is there a single shred of evidence that Bisping isn't complete trash? All anybody wants to talk about is 4 years, aliens, injuries. Somebody please address the fact that Bisping is a 38 year old who fucking sucked in his prime.

And in the last fight he wasn't even better than gassed 46 year old Hendo. That es un problemo
Gotta think how bisping would of looked is usada was in play 10 years earlier

JJ-Rose looking like a great livebetting opportunity, too. I like the idea of taking Rose ML pre-fight, then cashing it/swapping bets to JJ after the end of the first since I do feel like Rose is going to start faster than JJ.

I don't think so. IMO if Rose wins it will be a sudden sub. Rose isn't just going to start taking over the fight. I think the longer the fight goes the more JJ dominates.
