first run:

0.85u bisping +115
0.4u bisping DEC +364
0.15u bisping RD4 +1850
0.1u bisping RD5 +2650

2u Dillashaw +126

the round five is sweet. sometime at the end of the 4th if bisping is well ahead on the cards there could be a middle opportunity on the decision at plus money.

I have a straight on Cody at -150. I actually think he should be around a -230 favourite. Not sold on the arguments against him handily defeating Dillashaw.

- Cruz couldn't take Cody down, but took TJ down a few times. Granted he had planta fascia in the Cody fight, but Cruz himself won't use it as an excuse, so why should we?

- Cody's sick scrambles he used to stop Cruz takedowns indicate to me he'll be fine against Dillashaw's wrestling. He's just better everywhere else (except the kicking game). Which leads me to the next point.

- Dillashaw gets a bit off balance with his high kicks , opening himself up for reactive takedowns. From the limited wrestling we saw from Cody in the Cruz fight, what we did see what some sick reactive takedowns off the back foot.

Because we are trying to objectively analyze fights to make $$$ while Cruz is a class act who agreed to step in the octagon and won't try to justify his loss. But that definitely doesn't mean that it didn't impede his performance a little bit.

Fair. I do agree that it likely impeded it a little. However, It's unlikely these guys are ever 100% when they step in there. I think Cody will look slightly less impressive against Dillashaw than he did against injured Cruz, but should still be a bigger favorite than he is on most books.

For sure, fighters are rarely 100% healthy on fight night but I think a foot issue on a fighter who's entire game is centered around footwork and movement is definitely something that at least needs to be taken into consideration. It's quite possible that TJ will be able to move his feet a little better than Cruz did, creating cleaner angles and more opportunities to hit takedowns. I've got this fight around 50/50 myself, but I do think really highly of Cruz' abilities so I can see how Cody earning a dominant win over him can lead you to believe he'll be able handle TJ as well.

I see a lot of people on Dillashaw, but the line keeps moving the wrong way. Get those bets in so I can get a better price on Cody! ;). Cody has been looking at Cruz at the top since the beginning, he seems to have almost built his style to beat guys like Cruz and TJ. His movement, hands, and defensive wrestling are too good imo. I actually think he stops Dilly, but this is all pretape, so take with a grain of salt.

Am i missing something?! Why is the line for O4.5 on GSP/Bisping is getting even better? It was 1.72, now is 1.80
2u immediately going in this direction

Cruz and TJ really are not similar fighters though. Their movements are quite different, actually very different

Am I the only believer in Thug Rose here?

She is by far the best finisher that JJ has faced. Also longest reach of her serious opponents. Just dominated the Karate Hottie and is entering her prime at age 25. She looks the part of future champ.

I don't think JJ is invulnerable. She would be 0-2 vs Gadelha without Claudia cardio issues. She has been rocked by both Gadelha and Karolina, and Rose hits harder than both of them, and can take her back and finish if she lands a big shot. I think Andrade was a favorable matchup for JJ bc of the reach advantage.

Gotta respect JJ's striking and distance control, but I think the fight is going to be closer than ppl expect and wouldnt be surprised to see Thug Rose pull it out. Hoping she gets up to +400 or better before the fight

You really think Rose hits harder than Gadelha?

I love rose but she quits. Unless she has the upper hand she wilts under the pressure. She is one hell of a fighter and I favor her against everyone but JJ /Cláudia/ Andrade. And I doubt she will ever be able to beat them. She should of beat Kk but once she started being the nail instead of the hammer she folded. She is such a great person with great skills but not the best mental ability to handle bad situations. I hope she does become champion someday, but I would not bet on it.

My main point there was that Cody seems to have focused on his footwork and movement to combat guys like Cruz/TJ who rely on a lot of quick in and out attacks

If you are having a hard time reading through these threads ignore works great.

Probably, yeah. She said she got stronger before the Waterson fight so if she didn't hit harder before, I think she probably hits harder now.

So because she lost round 3 vs KK she quit + is mentally soft? That's a fucking reach and I don't remotely buy that narrative

It’s not that one fight. She has questioned before if she wanted to continue to do this in the past. Breaks down emotionally, she had a very hard life and I don’t think she has the self confidence. Being mentally strong is not something you can teach.

You don’t have to buy it, it’s my opinion. But I believe it 100%. Not just the kk fight, but her entire life has been like that. Fuck I saw hours after her loss to Carla having to be forced into the lobby by pat berry because she thought she was worthless and wanted her fans to cheer her up. Take it for what it’s worth.
