UFC 207 - Nunes vs Rousey - Vegas

I think people are forgetting just how good Dom's wrestling and grappling are. I know Garbrandt wrestled in high school, but this is by far the least talented grappler he's faced besides arguably Mizugaki. And then when you think about that, his wrestling has won him a lot of the fights despite facing very tough grapplers. I think he's going to have Garbrandt down several times in this fight and Garbrandt will be struggling to get any offense without the risk of the takedowns.

How I'm viewing it as well. Dom will mix in TDs every time Garbrandt gets aggressive and stifle his offense

Regarding Cruz vs Cody

I'm going to end up on Dom (either decision if it can get back to + odds or -5.5) but for sure won't be going as heavy as I initially thought I would. I watched all 4 parts of BJJScouts Dom break down last night for probably the 5th time, and he made a good point when going over the DJ fight about how successful proper bullrushing can be against Dom. I'm not saying thats whats going to happen, but I have to consider it a possibility when Cody has looked like the best pure boxer Cruz has ever fought and there is really no fights to look to for a gauge on how he'll perform here. Its a big ass question mark. I don't like risking serious money with big ass question marks involved (please no one mention the Sage disaster), especially when the knowns (prob best prospect at 135 who seems very hungry, best boxer Cruz has fought, ability to pressure, ability to play more technical when its called for as shown vs Briones) won't make it surprising if Cody shows in this fight he is capable of competing with Dom or even beating him.

Gartbrandt will be the most dangerous in the first 2 rounds but obviously as the fight goes on advantage goes to Cruz and his ridiculous cardio. Garbrandt is very solid but I don't he's ready for cruz at this point its a big step up in competition too much too soon. I think even the cruz money line is value as garbrandt has only one path to victory and that's catching cruz early and until someone can solve the cruz puzzle I will roll with him everytime.

Maybe Nunes is playing games with that sick tweet, especially if ronda is not doing media/press action.

Trying to figure out Women's mind sets and adding it within MMA was always destined to be pure confusion.

I'm not scared of his BJJ, I will KO him standing, he always gasses, he couldn't even choke Kelly, shooting sloppy takedowns, I've studied him very well, trained alot of clinch work with Werdum at Kings MMA for my last fight, been at Kings since last September, 4 camps here, I keep evolving, I'm young, started training at 16, went professional at 18, training with the best at Kings, second round KO or decision win

Anyone think Lineker can win 2/3 rounds by constantly advancing/throwing volume? He has a very judge friendly style and I see this fight taking place almost exclusively on the feet.

Thinking about biting at +200

I'm expecting TJ to hold the center much better than Dodson and I definitely expect him to shoot on Lineker at points in this fight. I just see Lineker as a puzzle too easy to solve for someone of TJ's calibur to lose to. TJ decision will be my biggest play of the card

I expect him to try to shoot at times as well, but he will have to time his shots well as lineker has such a low center of gravity and is always throwing with power. I agree TJ is definitely more skilled and maybe I am looking for ways to bet Lineker as I am a fan lol, but I will probably keep it small and play Linker's ML. Depending what Dillashaw's dec line is couldp possibly play both as I do not see him finishing Linker. Too bad Bovada does not have NSC bets..

I just realized how big of a step up in competition Cruz is to Garbrandt. He's had one of the easier routes to a title shot. Two guys in a row with poor striking defense. Prior to that, no big wins either. There are so many guys in the division that he hasn't fought yet.

Welcome to the "money fight" era

Ok. Hit RR for 800 for 2 reasons. First I think she gets bet and second, I think she is taking this serious. I will freeroll if possible. But if I get stuck so be it

Lineker throwing with power makes it easier to change levels for a TD. With Lineker's style of throwing wild punches I anticipate TJ can easily slip and counter him hard. TJ and Bang train boxing so much that I think they can find an easy path to victory either with takedowns or with just boxing. I think Lineker has a punchers chance for a KO otherwise he is gonna lose.

I also strongly favour Cruz Garbrandt is gonna have similar problems that TJ had in that TJ kept trying to hit Cruz hard instead of just touching him. If Garbrandt tries to hit hard he will allow Cruz enough time to get outta the way. I doubt "No Love" is savvy enough to change up his game plan to one that will work against Cruz. He will likely just go for the KO per usual and struggle with Cruz's style.

Between the two fights if I had to pick a dog I would pick Lineker to find TJ's chin before "No Love" could crack Cruz.

I just put 5u on RR @ -155. I agree RR is gonna get bet up come fight time as Nunes is relatively unkown. I hope to just play the movement and be on Nunes for 1-2u

She hurt Tate enought to make her quit. Tate never quit before. Just rewatched the fight and I think she kills Ronda.
Tate has always been easy to hit, though. Her striking defense is bad

Started 6 years ago watching MMA videos, started in Italy, then london, then 2 years ago, I found Kings MMA, last 4 fights, I've been preparing at Kings, training full time, was back into training a week after my last fight, 2nd fight in Vegas, he's a grappling, his wrestling is average, I don't see him taking me down, don't doubt my ground game, first or second round KO, training with Werdum for 2 months, best sparring partner, I'm very confident, also trained with Dariush, Kelvin, Machida, and others, Kelvin is already back in training

I was too cocky, I knew nothing about Moreno, I have to do research, I only watched his highlights on his one TUF fight, I thought he was a striker, I would have never shot like that if I knew he was primarily a grappler, I felt like an idiot, I'm doing alot more homework now, more research, I have to redeem myself, Borg presents alot of challenges, he's tenacious, has heart, but I believe I have the tools to beat him, trained alot with the RVCA grapplers, I'm going to win, I have a gameplan
