Anyone else seeing Tyron/Wonderboy looking something like Ronda/Holly? A bull vs matador type of situation, Tryon being the bull and Wonderboy avoiding his rush by being more agile?

Not saying there is a direct comparison in terms of skill level, but that seems like the game each will play, it's just weather or not Tyron is too quick and Wonderboy cant escape his charge.
Woodley isn't really a pressure fighter. He's kinda like Yoel, he hangs around and then explodes and closes the distance in spurts. Only difference is Woodley has a tendency to hang around a bit too much and not throw, which makes him get trapped against the cage sometimes

I think Yoel is going to walk through Wideman, it'll look similar to when Vitor rushed him only Yoel wont stop and will beat him senseless. Post usada Wideman isn't the same physically, and he's taken a beating now so he wont be the same mentally either.
I think people in general are too quick to write off a fighter as damaged goods after a ko-related loss. People deal differently with it, but losing is part of competition. And Weidman hasn't taken that much head trauma in his career apart from the Rockhold fight. I also think it wasn't out of the question that Weidman could have won a decision if he hadn't pulled that blunder off a move that lost him the fight. Diego wouldn't have nearly been that big a dog against Held if he hadn't lost by ko to Lauzon, though Held doesn't even pose a big ko threat and this was a stylistically favorable match up for Diego.

Of course on the opposite of the argument you also have examples like McRory that went from being a very tough, gritty fighter with pretty much zero stoppage losses to losing by two crazy big ko losses.

Also, I'm really looking forward to seeing Weidman fight again, I've been kinda getting the vibe the public has turned a bit against him, not sure why. Excellent fighter and seems like a decent person outside the octagon.

Joanna double chance on bet365 (Tko/Ko and decision) -200 is crazy. Joanna win this and via tko/ko or decision... This market have much much value. Thoughts?

Value is on Woodley but I'm totally picking Wonderboy here. Woodley doesn't have enough variety in his striking style to even set up that big right hand. His wrestling is extremely key here but I don't see him landing those at will for 3 of 5 rounds. He's an explosive wrestler but he isn't a guy who chains it which would be better to beat Wonderboy IMO. If Tyron freezes up like he did against Rory there's a small chance it can hit the scorecards with WB doing the dance, or the big moment can get Woodley to fully commit and get him countered for a KO loss, or that type warrior mentality can pay off for him in his favor.

Tyron also sounds really flustered to me during this whole campaign. I keep mentioning this notion because this is New York and it's a huge stage. Sometimes the bright lights make people fight out of character.

I think Maia will be next after and he would beat both these guys so as long as Demian's body is working in form at the ripe old age of whatever he is.

Ariel tweeted that Alves is having a really hard time making weight. Playing Miller.

Also said that he saw Jacare, who's also cutting weight, in case someone drops out at last second?!

Johnson +3.5 +120. LOVE that line. Johnson is my favorite under dog of the card as is. If Nurm has a first round like he did vs Horcher, Johnson could keep this standing at the very least long enough to hit Nurm with enough good shots to win the round.

Hitting that

I don't like it. I posted this earlier, but I think khabib -3.5 covers or mj wins. So just do mj ml over the +3.5, huge price jump

Rebel Lion has to come in here & show me the goods on how to pick crazy parlays that come true haha

Hehe yea id like to see more of those plays prefight and not postfight!

( <3 reb )

Alves weighing in at 162! That's not surprising. Miller going to win this one

Already got 5u on it and think Sham has a few too.

Alves will probably weigh in towards the end, will be interesting if miller does a lamas thing here and ask alves to weigh a certain weight before fight time, if not alves could balloon back 1-2 weight classes above miller.

Remember Cowboy/Brooks.

Missing weight doesn't always mean a guy has been lazy in training. I were on Alves it would be confidence increase for me.
