UFC 200 PPV buys?

You mean the one press conference? A press conference isn't a world tour dumbass. What about 194? Where was that press tour or does the one they had 9 months prior count?

There were several with RDA and Conor. The world tour was with Aldo, not Mendes, so yes, it counts toward UFC 194 seeing as that's where all the hype and bad blood came from.

The press tour between Aldo and McGregor was for a totally different event! All press conferences with RDA & Conor were in the U.S so it ISN'T a world tour. Brock has a whole WWE fanbase to capitalise on and he still isn't a bigger draw than McGregor. There was only one press conference between RDA & McGregor, not multiple.

Or because he's had 2+ years of inactivity, on top of his already declining performances against Condit and Hendricks, and if ever there was a time GSP could be beaten, it'd be now. They're looking for a legacy boost off GSP. It's the same as when everyone was calling out Wanderlei in the middleweight division right after he got knocked out by Rampage and Leben.

Lol yup why fight for $$ when you can get a meaningless legacy boost that does nothig fir you financially in the lowest paying sport on tv.

I would say maybe your right if this was before the reebok deal, where fighters could sell there legacy's for profit.

But now legacy means nothing since UFC chased away all there sponsors, mma fighters went from pulling in millions to 10's of thousands. Its a different game and without those big fights its almost not worth it anymore if your a marquee fighter

You don't remember the ridiculous press conferences with RDA leading up to UFC 196? They started doing them in like January. Do YOU even watch mma?

Hey check out @5:00

UFC 196 best selling card ever? Don't just take Conor's outlandish word for it.

Didnt quite go as expected. Everything about that card fell short.

They dont want to talk about it.

Probably did around 1m

Huge blow with no Jones

The UFC Brass and Conor are lying?

Weird shit

Conor says plenty that isn't true. Dana has gone on record saying UFC 100 did 1.6 million buys, and he's gone on record saying UFC 196 did 1.5 million buys. Assuming you can believe UFC brass on one of those instances, how can you not believe them on the other? UFC 196 can't be the highest selling ppv in UFC history AND have only 1.5 million buys.

I talked to a few guys at work about Brock's fight a few days before the show and they didn't even know that he was fighting again. 5 weeks wasn't enough time to promote Brock Lesnar's comeback, it all just happened out of nowhere.

Even with Jones on the card I think it would have done the same numbers.

True. The UFC is contradicting themselves one way or the other.

UFC also says that both Jones and Vitor are the youngest champions ever...
