Jon Jones has at least 4 sub-minute flukes. Anderson twice that. In fact, most champs have a lot of short fights. Of course those fights prove something.

I'm an Aldo fan. I'm also a Mac Gregor fan, but Macgregor was in zero danger from the punch Aldo landed on his way down from his throne. Mended landed harder. I checked out of rooting for Aldo when his walk-in to the cage had him looking beat and stiff from the pressure. It was like me at 12 giving a class speech for the first time and choking on stage. That was not the typical relaxed Aldo I know and I had a bad feeling right away. Lol

Blame Aldo. He brain-sharted and pulled an "elevation? Who cares!" Cain Velasquez by making it a personal fight. All of his team and coaches are stupid too for filling his mind with prideful emotional nonsense before his fight. Every one was gotten to. No-one was there telling him not to worry and to focus on his gameplan. Nope! It was all "we will make him pay for talking sh**".

What a bunch of unprofessional a-holes. I almost feel sorry for Aldo. He needs to get rid of his yes-men coaches.

Ronda Rousey and all the so-called unbeatables need to take note.

GSP was the only one with a level head who was always humble and always pushing his limits.
 
I told my kid when it happened, that this would still leave the doubters, doubting. It's kind of like with Ronda. Lots of really quick finishes, and some almost magical wins. We have not seen Conor in a REAL fight yet as we hadn't with Ronda. It remains to be seen if he's the true GOAT. His achilles is still his Wrestling. ;)
