Exactly, i thought Max won the rematch and the first was so uneventful that if he had got the nod i wouldnt had been surprised either, their matchup isnt exactly a 5 round war i would be so interested in watching, Max deserves it, yes, but i would prefer for him to take on other fighters than boring Volk, Poirier and Conor showed us that belts are optional.

He's 26 years old and 18-0, Max and Volk are old men compared to him, Max via mileage and Volk by being 7 years his elder. McKee is 18-0 he beat a top 20 guy in Caldwell who's a great wrestler, he beat Pat Curran a formed champion and top 10 FW, he beat Patricio who was a top 5 FW. The kid has looked dominant vs very good competition, he's arguably the best prospect in MMA, hes 5'10 with 73.5in reach and he can do it all.

Who doesn't want to see him come to the UFC and get 1 or 2 fights on a fast track to a title shot? "Who cares the best guys in the world would beat him". People said that about all the Strikeforce and WEC guys, its not even about being right or wrong its about finding out.

The major issue with the UFC featherweight division is the top 10 don't fight often.
Aj Mckee will unfortunately have the Micheal Chandler problem where he's stuck in the championship clause or the UFC didn't offer a better deal.

I Mckee were to come over now, I would love to his debut against KZ.

Emmett and Allen are on good streaks and can challenge for the title. If Chikadze beats Kattar there's a third challenger. Throw in Cejudo and Holloway and I don't think Volk will be short of contenders for a while.
