Trump wants to start a fucking arms race with russia and china. The nuclear arms race was an actual element of the cold war. So it is not in fact those on the left that are pushing for another cold war, it is in fact Trump.

The allegations are serious, I agree. There is simply nothing conclusive, even the NSA is only "moderately confident", and no new information has come out since the story broke.
Its either have absolute faith or have doubts. There is nothing wrong with either position so long was we're not mocking each other or producing a report on RT YouTube statistics as some kind of smoking gun.

Is an arms race not more of a cold war move than some economic sanctions against Putin? And economic sanctions is pretty much the maximum punishment I've seen anyone on the left argue for against Putin.

Putin is trying to undermine western democracies and destabilize long standing international orders. He wants to weaken America. Any American who is still more concerned with acquiring "concrete evidence" at this point is being absurd and I'll go so far as to say putting tribalism points above their country.
