U.S. report on Russian hacking released.

Well, yeah. We prefer not to have hostile foreign governments spying on us and/or have their propaganda arm trying to meddle in our democratic process. Is that really that strange to you?

Well yeah, we prefer to be lied to by our leaders and our media.

If Russia was responsible for exposing Shillary's lies and corruption...to that I will say

THANK YOU!

Let's not ignore the fact that most of the damage came when running against Bernie. THe only reason she won against him was because the DNC is corrupt as fuck and wished it so.

Hillary beat Bernie worse than Obama beat her.

Libs should be thanking Russia for exposing that scumbag.

Remember, government transparency is a good thing. We need more of it.

What does 'maga" mean?

So, for instance, even if NAZI Germany in WWII wanted to broadcast a radio show dedicated to how awesome Hitler is, it doesn't mean that the freedom of speech protected by the first amendment requires the government to let them do it.

That's not really adding anything. I would expect a lawyer to cite some cases or something. Seems to me the 1st Amendment is designed to prohibit exactly what you're advocating. I find it hard to believe you're really of the mind that the federal government should be decided what we can see and hear while also maintaining that people sharing the truth (i.e. everything leaked) isn't Constitutionally protected.

Fair enough. I think Assange is just as scummy as those whose secrets he divulges if not more so.
Yeah, he's a bit of a douche. In the end, how badly do you want transparency is at question. We've certainly relied on and listened to sh*tier people than him to provide us information. It should all be taken with a grain of salt thoug. I believe no one's claims of altruism

Why do people who attack Russia, outright ignore what the DNC did to influence our elections??? The DNC had WAY more influence over our elections than Russia did and I dare someone to tell me otherwise. The whole angle of blaming Russia is too take all the heat off the DNC and how they were colluding with our media to election Hillary Clinton.

You're making it sound like I'm one of the people who's guilty of what you're describing in your post. I'm not. The DNC is fucked (and so is the GOP btw), but that doesn't make me take an essentially nihilist view of espionage. Yes, the DNC tried to influence the election. No that doesn't make it ok for Russia to do so.

And that is wise.

I also prefer not to have foreign money playing a part in our elections either as we have no way of truly determining their reasons for doing so nor what concessions the recipient may have agreed to for financial support.

The NSA, FBI, and CIA put their name on a book report I would have been embarrassed to submit in high school.

The NSA, FBI and CIA chiefs put their names and careers on the line with this report.

Trump doesn't want this pursued. He's said openly to move on.

Overwhelming agreement with intelligence agencies that routinely disagree with one another should be compelling to anyone that's not a retard.

Compelling is not conclusive. And the only thing that is really compelling is the actual hack, which nobody has argued didn't or couldn't have happened. Its the canyon like jump to conclusion that Russia hacked our election and the zero evidence that has been shown to the world to support it that people question and doubt. Another Cold War build-up should require more than compelling unless you're retarded.

I read the full report...If I got it right they're blaming RT?

That's a new low.

Good job at proving RT is controlled by the Russians too. It's not like it's called RUSSIA Today.

To make matters worse the NSA has only moderate certainty it was the russians that did the hack.

Did you read the report?

They have high confidence Putin wanted to influence it. The NSA has only moderate confidence on that.

They have high confidence russians hacked some stuff and released it. Doesn't mention exactly what.

Trumplings are still in denial when it comes to Russia

Trumplings =

I guess I should give you points for saying starting a cold war with russia rather than an actual war as those on the right repeatedly state.

But alas, you're still wrong.

Trump wants to start a fucking arms race with russia and china. The nuclear arms race was an actual element of the cold war. So it is not in fact those on the left that are pushing for another cold war, it is in fact Trump.

Peace at any cost is not a winning strategy. The approach one country takes regarding another country should be firmly rooted in actions between one another.

Russia directly interfered and undermined US elections and they wanted Trump elected. Not only that but the god emperor asked them to do it. The son of a bitch actually went on national television and asked Russia to hack on his behalf. And they fucking did.

Everyone that fucking matters says so.
