Live reports saying 2 injuries -- which is incredible if that's all it was.

There is reported message of Iran rhetoric "don't repeat 1953" and a dude was on top of the truck? Take what I say as initial report -- it's breaking/etc -- facts may change, story below vids.





In Westwood, activists organized a demonstration in support of the Iranian people. At least two people were examined but denied medical attention, according to the LAFD.

Cellphone video showed the driver being punched as a group of people attempted to get him out of the large truck. The vehicle's windows were also broken.

Law enforcement has not identified the driver.

Judging by the sign it seems like the U-Haul driver blames the U.S for the current situation in Iran. No shah no regime 1953 meaning that if the U.S and U.K did not overthrow Mossadegh and replace him by the shah the Iranian revolution would never have happened and the current mullahs and their oppressive theocracy wouldn't be in power. He probably see those protesters who support the Iranian protesters as pro U.S interventionists hence why he ran through them. Just trying to make sense of the thing here.

That said that was a pretty fucking dumb thing to do and it could have been much worse. Should be arrested and charged. This is not how you try to send a message. That dude is a fucking zealot
