How does the fight go?

I see it the same way. The fact that Fury couldn't really hurt Ngannou was a huge factor in the fight and part of this perfect storm in terms of creating a narrative about Ngannou's potential as a boxer. The thing is he is hittable and Wilder can hurt him.

Not taking anything away from the guy. He's an absolute legend already IMO.

Wilder is also eminently hittable as well. And ngannou is a world class counter puncher so as wilder comes in, he Will definitely eat ngannou's counter and his own chin will not be able tp endure it.

You can get buzzed/stunned for a brief moment and still be fine after. Guys get staggered or their knees buckle all the time. Did you see AJ vs Usyk? AJ buckled his knees more than once but he caught himself and recovered immediately. We haven't seen Francis flatten anyone in boxing because he's only had 1 fight (excluding that old Takam exhibition). Even so, his power is real but it isn't what it was made out to be. Wilder is known for blasting through guards in boxing. It's a lot harder to do than it is in MMA. In the latter sport their guard might as well not even exist.

You're assuming that Ngannou's chin will pass the test against the biggest puncher in the division, if not in the entire sport. I think it's safer to assume that it probably won't. Wilder's power is freakish. If he connects first on Wilder though then he's in trouble. I just don't believe that he'll get there first. Another thing is that Wilder can be out of range and then close distance in the blink of an eye. Watch the Breazeale fight.

Like I said, ngannou's entire game is built on drawing the attack and then countering the attacker. His timing and accuracy is very high level. As Wilder comes in, he will be countered. And his own chin cannot take ngannou's punch.

Fury won the points (by a narrow margin); Francis won the fight (by a wide margin).

Hard agree. They both looked quite better than Fury and Ngannou.
Fury is very good for 6”9 or whatever he is but he’s also a looping puncher with sloppy spots who flicks shots and uses back hands which is supposed to be illegal in boxing he also has to shift weight at times moving in southpaw stance to maintain balance if he’s punching going forward a lot . He doesn’t really use clean boxing and holds and hits the majority.

I don’t know I must be in the twilight zone because I’ve never seen a guy get so hyped up as the best pure boxer at heavyweight which isn’t reality . Joshua clearly has been that even with some losses and by far has better technique in every punch . He’s actually the best combination puncher at heavyweight since Mike Tyson when he lets his hands go and he’s 240 plus pounds .

No. If anything it rejuvenated my desire to not watch it. Seeing Fury hugging every two seconds, the hugging in boxing in general is why I don’t watch. I remember I watched one one time and the guys would exchange and then hug for like 5 seconds, literally after every single punch thrown. Never again

I feel like it’s been a good last couple of years for boxing when it comes to matchups. You’re missing out.

Mostly only for the boxing matches that involve Ngannou, IMO.

Imagine if Francis loses to a random PFL can..lol. If I was Dazn I would try and buy whatever agreement PFL has with Francis to secure those future fights with Fury and Wilder
That would never happen because Fury is contracted to ESPN in the states and BT sports Queensbury with Frank Warren in the U.K so Any fight outside MMA wouldn’t happen on DAZN , no way guys like Arum and Warren do a multi platform promotion with Hearn those guys are salty as hell . Lol

Fury future fights along with Wilder wont matter much I’ve said it fir 2 years now those guys probably have a shelf life of 2025 . These guys aren’t getting healthier and constant injuries and are aging , Fury knocked out at least 3 years off of Wilders career himself and Fury keeps getting rocked bad in fights when he fights decent opponents .

Eddie Hearn, is that you? Lol

The last time we heard a guy had an indestructible chin was just months ago, Joe Joyce. The Juggernaut. He finally met a guy big and powerful enough that not only hurt him but stopped him. Then he did it again. There isn't a guy in the division that Wilder can't hurt. Only one has ever survived and he barely, barely scraped by. By the skin of his teeth. Let's see what happens when Ngannou is in there against a real killer. Until he actually fights one in boxing it's pointless to speculate any further.

Why do I sound like I know what I’m talking about ? I actually had to tell Hearn how his own contract with a certain fighter worked on Twitter years back and informed him why a situation was happening I should be a boxing executive so your little post here won’t go to far trying to be satirical. Lol

Dont let the freakshow YouTube boxing cloud your judgment.
mma vs boxing is good for both sports and we need more of it.

You look at boxing 20 years ago with Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe etc and they would have Murked and MMA fighter. Boxing is desperate

I think you meant to say 30 years ago. With the exception of Lewis, the rest of those guys didn’t even belong in a boxing ring in 2003.

Unlike me wtf do you know about me or how I live.

GTFO

Dont talk shite about something you know nothing about. Francis 37 very late in life to start making the dollars. Im sure hes also got plenty of people around him taking a share of his earnings.

The sponsors will be there until he loses he isn't Floyd Mayweather. The fight with Fury was his money fight so he better hope he gets the rematch because last I heard PFL wouldn't be paying Francis UFC money. Thats why im saying dont bite the hand that feeds you.

Thats why im living the dream while Francis is getting his brains punched in at 37. His 10 million before Tax say 6 million wouldn't even buy much of a house where I live.

You are probably a pimple faced little puke.

People are saying he made over ten mil for this fight, won't he lose half in taxes, plus after training costs etc etc it is not this crazy amount people are making it out to be after all is said and done. Props for him yes, but it's not this crazy amount either

It shouldn’t really be about this or that guy , a good fight is a good fight no matter what sport it is , even kick boxing is worth a watch now and then I’ve seen some crazy brutal fights . Todays fans are more interested in popularity fighters not good fights ,they don’t know how spoiled they are even though they have an entire set of choices more then ever .

Combat sports are much bigger now with social media , back in the day guys like me had to watch Tuesday Night Fights which was on USA network once a week and taped things on a VHS if I was lucky to get a big fight on T.V once in a blue moon , even UFC wasn’t around you actually saw kickboxing and that was our MMA . Lol

6 million would barely buy a house where you live? LMAO. And everyone there is buying these houses in 100% cash millions down? Including you? Stfu man.

Francis was digging sand like 12 years ago, and just earned himself another large boxing fight after his performance. He'll be fine.
That dude Clackers is a fucking idiot. He probably works at McDonalds .

This dummy was literally bragging yesterday on sherdog that he's like 60 years old. Lol

Why do I sound like I know what I’m talking about ?

Quite the opposite. Joshua is fool’s gold, smoke and mirrors. The most overrated HW boxer in recent years. He’s been exposed already. Hearn is doing all he can to resurrect the guy’s image. That’s why I made the Hearn joke.
