Wilder easily KOs Francis, lol, Tyson didn’t even train for this fucking fight and still won 6-7 rounds, Wilder will take Franny serious and knock his soul out his body. Fucking morons, it’s just a cash grab at this point, dudes a threat on a paper only level.

Lotta long time boxing fans kinda embarrassing themselves on this one lol.

I respect boxing a lot as a martial art but as TV entertainment I've always found it extremely hard to watch due to the short rounds, lack of action and constant ref intervention. Of course MMA is often boring too, but at least it's boring in a more natural way if that makes sense.

doubt it.

it will spark more interest in Fury vs Usyk.

If usyk sparks him early then people will say 'francis wasn't really that good, tyson had his foot out the door, he's over the hill / not motivated, etc etc'
if the fight goes to decision people will say 'man ngannou could hang with usyk and possibly beat him'.
if Fury wins ... then everyone will say ngannou should be ranked #2 in the WBC

Hearns is making a lot of noise for Francis being AJ's next fight. I wouldn't mind seeing that!

WTF does that have to do with relevancy in 2023? Mike Tyson is an all-time great too. The masses truly don't give a shit if you agree or not because you feel he's overrated. Mike Tyson is still everywhere, on everything.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about kid

I am not convinced one of you boxing idiots replying to me know anymore about Boxing than I do[/QUOTE

Settle down Cupcake

You’re a Total newb.

You’ve never stepped in a cage or ring I’m sure….

Wilder's such a wild card. There isn't a single match up where he doesn't have a chance of winning by a vicious KO.

Fury was embarrassing.

He was out of shape and thought Ngannou would be a touch.

A warm up.

Ngannou deserves loads of credit. He was in shape and fought his best.

Fury is a disgrace. Ngannou trained and fought like a champion. Fury trained like a bum.

He got the win but really he lost. Ngannou went 10 rounds with the best HW boxer. He survived and even put him on his ass.

I think Fury deserved the decision but lets face it he lost. He got the decision but was taken to the wire by Francis.

It shows how awesome Francis is. An MMA fighter took the best HW boxer in the world to the wire. Francis Ngannou. It doesn't matter what shape Fury was in.

Francis fought his heart out. He boxed better than anyone thought he could.

He left the UFC and backed himself. Ngannou deserves a tonne of credit. He is an absolute warrior.

You seem to know the opposite for...reasons.

Please let me know how guys like Ruiz, Wilder, Usyk perform in PPV when they are not facing Fury or Joshua.
Indicators like google trends or Instagram followers, while not perfect, put Ngannou far above any HW not named Joshua or Fury.
Nope.
I never said he wasn't a draw, what I said earlier in the thread was that we would have to see the buy rates vs Fury to see where he's at.
He wasn't even a great draw in the sport in which he actually WAS the champion (allegedly) so to just assume that he will be a huge draw with a boxing audience doesn't make sense.

Now if someone like the Saudi's want to throw a ton of cash @ Francis, it doesn't really matter but his viability based on ppv performance isn't a known quantity.

The reason there is even a discussion is that Francis wants Superstar money, and outside of the Saudi's desire to Sportswash their rep a promoter needs to have a return on investment. If Francis will fight for a small upfront, with bigger % of his purse on the backend tied to ppv buys, there is no issue, any promoter worth a shit would take him on. He hasn't been open to that up until now, though.

I think Ngannou is very live in that fight given AJ's current state, and I think they could do a mega event in the UK.

To be clear, what I did was complain about religious people knocking on my door and laugh at you when you tried to rewrite the joke to be about Democrats. That was enough to have you blowing up my PMs like a lunatic gimp who escaped a basement, compelled by a narrative that exists only in your mind. So, yeah, you've got serious problems with your brain.

Also, this you?

Let's get something straight, the only people that hid in basements are democrats during flu season, ANTIFA when the cops aren't around and your president.

I think whoever lands first would win. Probably Wilder.

Wilder hits harder. But Ngannou hits harder than basically everyone else.

Wilder has proven heart. Francis hasn't really overcome adversity, although he did survive the Stipe 1 beating, which should have been stopped. On the other hand, he was admittedly mentally shot from that beating and lost to Derrick Lewis of all people because of it.

Both have cardio exploitation concerns. With Francis in general there are still questions over fading. With Wilder, Fury showed you can make him blame a fucking costume for being tired if you bully him.

Wilder's chin is good but has been cracked. Francis' hasn't. This is a key variable in Francis' favor. But then again we are talking about arguably the GOAT puncher in Wilder so it could simply not matter.

Both have defensive liabilities that the other could make them pay for. But of course, Wilder has beaten every pro boxer not named Fury he has fought. Who is more likely to make a devastating defensive mistake, the 42-3-1 guy or the 0-1 guy?

My gut says Wilder. But I can't be sure. And anyone claiming to be is a fool. That's why it is a great fight that brings crossover appeal.

lol yes, roast me more with zingers from people who were too stupid to protect themselves from the deadliest pandemic in a century. I'm in agony here.

I do think the rematch is worse, even though I thought Francis won...but rematch, Tyson has too much now on a good strategy...But, I do hope Francis is that good, it makes a good story, and the fact UFC steals money from fighters..yeah would like to see Francis get rich.

But, will say this, Tyson Said himself, he never fought a better fighter in his last 10 years than Francis...is this Tyson wanting to give Francis a rematch to make him more rich? or was he serious?

IF Tyson has a rematch its almost an admission that he didn't imo
