Where does this myth of people not liking wealthy black men who speak out come from? Have they never turned on the television in the past 15 years? It's so often repeated but always false. Liking a loudmouth is up to personal preference, but most people don't like a loudmouth who also comes across as a complete idiot and an asshole; that's why people didn't like Cam Newton. Woodley comes off as both an idiot and alienates like 75% of the UFC audience with his race baiting antics. Never mind the fact that his last 3 fights were the most boring fights of the year. Rampage, on the other hand, is not a smart guy by any means, as well as being a loudmouth, but he's also a funny guy who can make any situation fun, so people generally like him. He never alienated people and when he talked trash it was fun directed at his opponent, not straight up accusing the other guy's fans of being KKK members.

Tyron is just not an enjoyable guy. He has a permanent stink-face, he's incapable of being funny or relatable, can't hold a conversation, and just gives off bad vibes to people. It's really that simple.

He has a lot going for him. Incredible fighter. He might have one of the best fighting IQ in the game. He's built like a super hero. He has everything he needs to market himself.

What I really can't stand is his whiny attitude. He's a whiny bitch. I, obviously, would not say that to his face and would rather hide behind my keyboard to type these words.

However, it is true. He adopts a victim mentality to try to get what he wants: money fights. As soon as he became champ he was talking about money fights. Well, f*ck you. That's not how the market works. If you can sell PPVs, you'll get money. If you must rely on your opponent to bring in PPV buys, then you don't f*cking deserve it. Bring the PPV buys yourself.

He just keeps blaming everyone else for the damage they are causing to his brand. That's ridiculous and it's extremely bad marketing. And so he damages his own brand. Who the hell manages this guy? Maybe figure this one out, genius.

Woodley isn’t very popular because he fought more cautiously in his last three fights than you’d expect from a fighter with his ability. Colby put tremendous pressure on Maia, while Tyron, who’s at least as good a wrestler as Colby, seemed terrified of Maia’s TD.

Fortunately for Tyron, fans are very fickle, and he’ll get a pass for those fights and the other BS if he gets an impressive finish in his next fight.
