Two weeks ago I said goodbye to Zack

She was twenty-two and she wasn't well. It was a tough decision, but it was the right one. She was rescued from a burning building and I'd like to think I gave her a good life. I'll miss her. For the last couple of years, if I was posting on Sherdog, she was curled up at my feet, purring like a diesel engine.

This morning I picked up a couple of Bengal Tortoise hybrids.

One I'm going to call Merl, and the other one, the runt of the litter, is Buster.

My sincere condolences. I'm sorry for your loss.

RIP Zack. Twenty two is a nice ripe age. I’m sure Zack had a hell of a life with a good owner.

Had to put down my dog two weeks ago. He was almost 16. Even when you know you took the right decision there is always a part of you thinking "what if I gave him couple more days ?" And the next day my cat disapeared. He came back after 36 hours, he was locked in the neighbours garage. I had never felt so unwell in my life.

Just saw this thread is older so i will focus on the new family additions. Glad they are with you and hope you have at least 22 years of joy with them.
