Two Russia/Trump stories break tonight.

This is an example of how irrational cynicism leads to bad thinking. If you already, inaccurately believe the worst of everyone, that doesn't make you sophisticated and immune to conmen, it makes you naive and an easy mark for someone pulling an affinity scam.

good for them so why are they mingling and chatting it up with this ambassador they're calling a 'spy' lol .. while they simultaneously scold trump's admin for talking to him .. this isn't about talking to the ambassador or sessions 'lying' ..

The 'mingling and chatting' part is what that blogger you linked took from a picture that was first featured in a NYT article. So I'd be careful on how much you really want to read into that.

I'm also not sure how this isn't about Sessions lying, maybe you can explain, but I was under the impression that this was exactly about Sessions lying.

If speaking to a Russian is a crime now, impeach everyone.

Speaking to a Russian is not a crime, and I have a hard time believing you could be dumb enough to think that that's the issue and still operate a keyboard. Sessions lied under oath to Congress about it.

Prove it and send that proof to Paul Ryan. Otherwise quit crying

Yes! But that's not what we're talking about it, is it? I'm saying we should have high standards, and that we generally do. And that we shouldn't fall for the "everybody does it" defense that scoundrels and their enablers love.

totally agree. the realization of this circumstance, or the projection of those circumstances whether real or imagined, should not result in a total withdrawal from active participation in the process.

Proved it earlier in this thread. Paul Ryan isn't going to put the national interest above his party's, and that's precisely why people need to stand up against this. Your idea that people should be silent in the face of gov't corruption is not a good one.

lying under oath? this is the top lawman of the country. lol
After the head of national security was fired for being a threat to national security, it's par for the course now.

Honestly I would have no problem with Sessions being "let go" under these flimsy circumstances. He's a hack who is only going to serve as excess baggage for the Trump administration. Perfect way to wash your hands off him.

It is obvious that some Democrats are now resorting to planting fake news and spreading lies in an effort to undermine the Republicans and Trumps administration.
Is this shit still going on in the WR? I haven't been here In a long time.

I bet you simpletons had a fun time with the "leaks are real, the news is fake!" claim recently.

Ever since it was pointed out a bunch of Macedonian teens sold your asses snake oil, you've lost your minds over "FAKE NEWS."

I'll give credit where credit is due though...New York Times etc subscriptions are through the roof. That's one business Agent Orange actually is MAGA.

Yep, now they're admitting to bringing him (sneaking him, actually) into Trump Tower. For a "hello" I'm sure!

Pretty soon we might be "admitting" our wee little web of shell companies in Cyprus, and the extent of the Russian investments in Trump's companies. If we're really lucky, we'll get into all the Atlantic City mob money laundering.

Shit's leaking out faster than Olga and Natalia's piss on Donald's Orange face during a Saturday night in Moscow.

Can't wait for what's next.

"Also, this GIF of Sessions' face, turning to his lawyer, right after he lies to Congress about his communications with Russia is priceless"

For a group of lifelong scumbags, they sure lack guile.

Remember Manafort's "that's what he said....that's what I.....that's....that's obviously our position."

Or Trump recently..."that's what I wa told" fiasco about the electoral victory margin. Lmao.

Motherfucker, you created a fake school to rob people of their savings, you're 70, how haven't you fine-tuned your skills better by now?

"There are transcripts that provide very helpful, very critical insights... into whether or not senior Russian leaders, including Putin, were colluding w/ the Trump campaign at the highest levels to influence the outcome of our election."

Q: "Let me just clear up.. do such transcripts exist?"

A: "I have not seen them. I believe they exist." - Sen. Coons

*Fail horn*.....
The party of false equivalences will push this hard, ignoring the fact that politicians meeting Russians out in the open, on the record, is not the problem...lying about it like sneak thieves is.

I'm a little late to the party here, so I can only judge on CNN vibes that I just tuned into. I think they might be worried about this Russia angle losing steam over their own hypocrisy. The Dems that is.

I respect Anderson Cooper, but he seems rattled over something. He's in people's faces like I've never seen before. Like, Don Lemon rattled. I think there's something brewing behind the scenes. He seems out of sorts, like he's pushing more than he normally would.

I don't know, maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it seems like something is up.
