Television TV Show Thread

Dexter: Resurrection was absolutely fantastic!! I was surprised that nobody started a thread for it or mentioned it here. Peter Dinklage and Uma Thurman were an excellent casting for this season. The writers basically brought back peak Dexter story/plot, and from what I read about Dexter: Original Sin getting cancelled after being renewed for a second season, Showtime wants to go all in on the main story line with Dexter: Resurrection. They want the writers to focus on the main show, so unfortunately the spin-offs are on the shelf for now.

Anyway, if anyone was a fan of the Dexter before, you will love the new season!

Masters of Horror, not every episode is good but there are a few bangers, esp 1 directed by Chainsaw massacre guy.

Horror anthology like Tales from the Crypt.

Just finished it myself. Wasn't overly impressed with the last season (New Blood), but this did a good job of erasing most of it and moving on. Really enjoyed it, Dinklage got better and better as the season went on. The black dudse from Smoke is a good actor, I heop to see him get some more momentum after those two series. Definitely the best for a while

Good to have James Remar back, I liked Deb in the original series but she was an annopying ghost. John Lithgow was unnesecary as well. Stick to pops next time

I think they just had to get those cameos out of the way early one for fan service. lol

Sick with Covid..

Think I found something to binge watch.

The Gentlemen on Netflix ...

I liked the movie ... so hopefully it's a long those lines.

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, the animated series starring Liev Schreiber as legendary agent Sam Fisher, will premiere globally on Netflix on October 14. An adaptation of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell franchise, Deathwatch focuses on Sam Fisher as he is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks his help.

Warrior 8.5/10
Jonathan Tropper, who's one of Banshee's creator, is the showrunner. The series is based loosely on a Bruce Lee idea centered around a Chinese martial artist navigating the Old West.

I love the show. It's violent and the fight scenes are way better than Banshee's. Andrew Koji is solid and so is the rest of the cast.

Andrew+Koji

Bonus:
Olivia Cheng

Finally got around to watching it and gotta say.. this show, “The Wire”, is pretty good.

Stumbled upon something I'm probably going to watch until it's done: House of Ninjas on Netflix. Added it to watchlist a while ago, and in opening credits saw a very pretty Japanese actress is in it. From first episode, seems like a family from long line of famous ninjas is secretly working for government difficult missions and conflicting with other ninja group(s).

EDIT: Finished the 8 episodes. Worth watching. I hope there's a Season 2.
