Not at all. There were legit 3 jokes in the entire 1883 series. So that tells you something cause I can distinctly remember the 3 times I smiled or laughed in 10 episodes lol

The relationship with James and Elsa is the heart of the story and very well-written father/daughter relationship. It what drives the entire mini-series and the most memorable part

The fact that Tim McGraw is actually married to Faith Hill and they play husband and wife makes for a great chemistry as well.

1923 is not as bleak but its pretty much just YS but 100 years ago. The Duttons are already dealing with the whole "the ranch is under attack and our way of life is dying" plots. The most interesting part is the Spencer Dutton character who is a WWI vet and has fucked off to Africa after his service. So you see his adventures and get away from the ranch. He's also a badass and fun character. The rumor and innuendo is that it'll be revealed that he's John's great-grandfather.
Ahhh, I didn't know they were even in it. Not into their music but I quite like them as people so that could be a draw.

Not me. I loved it. Great finale. Can't wait for S3.

I hope you stick with it for the next season (ETA: 2029)
2029 lol. Don't worry, I'm still sticking with it. Season one was good. Just frustrated with season two dragging its feet while jerking viewers around.

1883 was fantastic. Wished they didn't show one of the main character killed in a Yellowstone episode.

True Detective - Season 4

2/10

Dreadful writing. Filled with clichés. Bad use of music. A fucking train wreck.

I give it a 2 because the crime scene was amazing.

How can you have so many talented actors and make such an awful show?

ADOLESCENCE
Technically brilliant, emotionally gut-wrenching. Every episode is a one-shot continuous take. I especially like the ending of episode 2 where the camera, which has been going in and out of the school premises, suddenly flies off (presumably attached to a drone). Episode 3 is another great one for me as viewers catch subtle clues if the suspect is guilty or not.

Bosch Legacy season three final episodes out.
Only seen the first one, pretty good as usual, although the writing seems a bit flat at times.
Interwoven plots keeps it interesting.
Of course there's the obligatory eye rolling scene of 115 pound
female cops running down young, fit men and then throwing them on the ground
before roughly cuffing them.
Suurre. lol

DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND Season 2

Finale was great and made for must-watch TV. Again, for those that miss the good old days of Survivor, DONDI is a good substitute. Or just watch any old or new seasons of Survivor Australia, it's consistently great.

I was happy to see it back, figured the main guy on Honey was going to be the entire season.

Tough watch, Stephem Graham is blinding. As always.

Tried Netflix's MILLION DOLLAR SECRET, their version of The Traitors. I was kinda bored a little by the first episode. Episode 2 got interesting a little, the gameplay is still meh, but because some of the contestants' ugly personalities have started showing. By the end of Episode 3, I was raging against the bullies and nastiness. Congrats, Jaimi, you are the new most hated person in reality TV this week. Fuck you and your "spirits". Fuck you also Chris, Corey and Sydnee.

But there's just a major flaw in the show's game mechanics because there's no incentive for voting out the millionaire. If the pot would increase every time they guessed correctly a millionaire, then that would make more sense. Right now, it's just make a majority alliance and just vote out anybody not in your alliance.

I only have 3 episodes of Reacher left dammit. Season one was epic, season two beyond epic so I didn't think they could surpass that with season three which they have.

The Billy Crystal show "Before" I wish I hadn't bothered after finishing it. It took months to get through which for 35 minutes episodes isn't normal. I was hoping for some big reveal and it fell flat on its face.

Started season two of Surface, it's got Jamie Taart from Ted Lasso so I'm all the way in, episode 2 ended on a cliffhanger so looking forward to that this week.

the Amanda Seyfried show Long Bright River has been very good, I really like her.

I love Reacher. I am in love with Roscoe from season one.

Watching season 2 of 1923. Can two people have more bad luck than Spencer and Alex, his wife? They are prolonging the entire season that should have been two episodes so that Spencer can finally get home.

I agree. Elsa is so adorable. All the shows from this world are great. Watching season 2 of 1923 now. Spoiler alert.

I feel like they have been prolonging Spencer getting home for way too long. It started in the first season and has continued through ep 6. Damn it man, just get home and quit getting sidetracked
