The best scene of the first season of Reacher for me was probably in first episode. The prison cell scene where he knocks out that guy with a couple elbows. Have you saw the first season of 'The last of us'?
I have, I don't recall specifics though.
I'm not hugely into action but Reacher just does it.

1923 season 2 sucks and I hate everything. I hate watched the last season of Yellowstone enough but this is killing me. Think I'm finally done with the "Yellowstone-verse"

I've watched 3 episodes of True Detective season 4. Is it going to get better? I'm going to finish the season, but I was wondering.

I hate everything about the show. Many actors were miscast. We follow too many characters. Too many "cool songs" are there just for the sake of it. Etc.

I would go on a Apu rant, but don't have the time or energy.

I'm done too. The last few seasons of Yellowstone were bad. The last season was dreadful. Too many spinoffs. Too much Sheridan.

Anybody else frustrated with Severance season 2?
I got frustrated at the end of season 1. It's clear they don't have a clear idea where they're heading. They want to create moments.

My wife loved everything about season 1. She just finished season 2 and she's so confused. She showed me the marching band scene. We're entering Ed Wood territory.

He’s spread too thin. You can see the drop off in quality in season 4 when he started getting too many projects going.

I can’t believe we’ve spent a season and a half and Spencer STILL isn’t home yet. I have to finish this season just to see him finally get to that damn ranch

Currently watching reacher which I like and the house of david which I really really like and am currently kind of frustrated that I'm out of episodes because I want to watch more.

Any of yous like that show ?

No it isn't going to get better. Infact it's going to get worse. But don't deny yourself the chance of being like what the fuck at the final episode because that will be sort of fun.

Erickson knows where he’s going

So the latest 1923 episode... at the end, when the lion hunter's wife is totally squashed and dejected, the rich British couple invite her to join them for a bit after having witnessed the shit experience she just went thru, and they totally didn't really know her well but made a point to be helpful and kind to her was very poignant. I doubt that kind of thing happens much in real life.

Really like Lioness and Landman as new additions but went of Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King. I haven't watched the YS prequels being I Don't do too well with period dramas but I loved all of YS. Pissed off Costner fucked it over but I still loved it.

I highly recommend 1883. Even though it’s pretty bleak, it’s a tremendous adventure. Elsa is the GOAT Dutton and watching the series makes her narration in 1923 and Yellowstone that much better

I don't remember any narration in YT, weird.

I'm just not good with period anything. I thought YT was old for ages so avoided it till I saw a modern car in a trailer. I did enjoy American Primeval as tough a watch as it was but only started because I'm obsessed with cult Mormon stuff and I think Kitsch is a great actor.

IDK you might convince me at some point but there's so much choice at the moment I can't see it for a while.

She narrated a lot more in 1923. I think it was only 2 or 3 times in Yellowstone. Most notably in the finale.

I watched Primeval and 1883 back to back. They are similar but I thought Primeval was a little more torture pornish. 1883 was also brutal but it always fit the context of the story.

That’s also why I hate this season on 1923. It’s just trauma after trauma. Like we get it, the Wild West sucked! It’s almost cartoonish at this point.

I get it though. Period pieces can be a tough watch and not as easily relatable

I mean with Primeval there was pretty much no respite whatsoever. Are the YS prequels any more cheery? The guy that owned the whatever you want to call it small town in Primeval was the only thing cheery every now and again because he was kind of funny.

Not at all. There were legit 3 jokes in the entire 1883 series. So that tells you something cause I can distinctly remember the 3 times I smiled or laughed in 10 episodes lol

The relationship with James and Elsa is the heart of the story and very well-written father/daughter relationship. It what drives the entire mini-series and the most memorable part

The fact that Tim McGraw is actually married to Faith Hill and they play husband and wife makes for a great chemistry as well.

1923 is not as bleak but its pretty much just YS but 100 years ago. The Duttons are already dealing with the whole "the ranch is under attack and our way of life is dying" plots. The most interesting part is the Spencer Dutton character who is a WWI vet and has fucked off to Africa after his service. So you see his adventures and get away from the ranch. He's also a badass and fun character. The rumor and innuendo is that it'll be revealed that he's John's great-grandfather.

On average, streaming video subscribers in the U.S. pay for four services totaling $69 per month, a 13% year-over-year increase, according to Deloitte’s 19th annual Digital Media Trends report, released Tuesday. By comparison, cable or satellite TV customers reported spending $125 per month on average.
