Watched american primeval on netflix

Very entertaining, no clue how realistic but very entertaining. Like wild west version of banshee

I finally got around to starting The shield. I'm 3 episodes in and I like it, although Vic (the main guy), is kind of a douche thus far.

Dexter: Original Sin, was a pretty fun ride for Dexter fans. The wife and I enjoyed it a lot. Not sure if there will be another season, but they did a good job capturing the young versions of the cast. Christian Slater and Patrick Dempsey were both solid in their roles. I would like to see Christian Slater completely take over the role of Harry, but I heard that he will not be cast for the Resurrection series.

Jury Duty on Prime was a really good series! It was hilarious and a pretty cool concept. James Marsden is great and I became more of a fan of his after this show. The idea of creating a fake documentary on the jury duty process with only 1 real juror and the rest of the cast being actors was very well done. Really good show!

Zero Day on Netflix was good. Starring Robert DeNiro as former president Mullen who is tasked with heading up the Zero Day commission to investigate a cyber attack on the country. It was a little slow initially, but picked up as the series went on and ended very well. This one is a limited series, so I don't expect any follow ups. Oh, and Jesse Plemons (Fat Damon, iykyk) is part of the cast, and is skinny again! lol

Paradise on Hulu is very good. Really liking this show a lot and the finale is next Monday. This series stars Sterling K. Brown as SS agent Collins, who leads the protection detail for the president (James Marsden). Very cool show and has a post apocalyptic storyline.

I always thought that Eddie redmayne had one of the most punchable faces. Never bothered to see anything he starred in, but a few episodes into The Day of the Jackel and I'm thoroughly enjoying it

Started watching Japanese detective show Galileo on Netflix. I liked it and almost done with Season 1. Weird they omitted Episode 4 and googled and seems it exists but omitted for some reason and hot pornstar was in it. Curious.

It's about a mildly attractive rookie detective woman who continues her predecessor's habit of getting eccentric university science prof for help but only if she can manage to capture his interest via some supernatural connection to the cases. He pretty much figures out some scientific explanation for everything so far.

Been meaning to watch that as well. And agreed on his face. lmao!

It was my 'new' show of last year, he was brilliant.

I loved Zero Day, DeNiro in a series is epic gold. What a treat!
I'm looking forward to the end of PAradise, it's been edge of the seat and a pain only getting one episode a week it's so riveting.

I sated Reacher again last week and I'm really enjoying it. If rumours are to be believed I'd LOVE him as Batman. And I treat Batman actors really quite seriously.

I think it was very realistic, even down to the cult prophet which was the main reason for me watching it.
It was harsh AF with no breathing space for any respite so I did struggle watching it but it was really well done. Taylor Kitsch is brilliant in everything I see him in.

Yea he really should be a bigger name, he always brings it

The Pitt is pretty awesome. It's a hospital drama with the 24 type episode setup.
Each episode is from the same shift and they are a little more than halfway through now

Paradise season finale pretty much wrapped things up and kinda indifferent if there's a Season 2. Didn't feel like they teased out much interesting shit beyond Season 1.

I think Daredevil is Tuesday.

I was surprised acouple weeks ago to see it come up on netflix, that DeNiro was going to be on a show.

Finished Paradise tonight. Overall i thought it was solid! lol Fat Damon, yea, he definitely lost weight. When will him and Damon star in something together? even a skit would be fun

I do like media where a cataclysmic event happens. The time leading up to the event and then how they deal with it in the coming days and months. Whether its a Cyber attack, nuke, or zombie outbreak
Been meaning to watch that as well. And agreed on his face. lmao!
I finished this, even with his punchable face and mouth-breathing audible in the show, i enjoyed it

There were moments where it seemed unfortunate events kept piling on to push the suspense but i liked some of the decisions made in its final episode.

Zero Day took me a couple days to get through the first episodes, but once i actually sat down to watch it, i had to finish it.

But was also curious about Ritchson as Batman. i think he'd be closter to Batflec than to Pattinson's. Altough id like to see him in a realistic, noir batman

Sterling Brown's main talent to me is that hes a pro at displaying repressed emotion. On This Is Us, he was a professional crier, he cried every episode(watched this one with the old lady and i ultimately enjoyed it.)

Started A Thousand Blows last week, im always on the lookout for a boxing or mma related show. Unfortunately, after about the first three episodes i put it on a hiatus. I thought it was going to be much different. I was anticipating this show when the first still-shots were released and that it was created by Peaky Blinders creator. Although i never continued after the first season years ago.

There are tons of appletv+ shows that get recommended and tossed around often, the last year ive watched Presumed Innocent and Dark Matter. Really liked Dark Matter and want more.

This morning I completed Black Bird. Also really liked this one, i felt the ending was like a pulled-punch. But it still was solid overall. i keep an eye out for Paul Hauser ever since i watched him on Kingdom

I started and finished A Thousand Blows last night! The last 3 episodes were better than the first 3. It did take a bit to settle on the boxing storyline. I wonder if this is a first half drop, because after episode 6, there were previews for more. I enjoyed Stephan Graham's character of Sugar Goodson, but man what an asshole! lmao! His bro is cool, though.
