Television TV Show Thread

Just finished the most recent episode of Lioness. If the audience is supposed to begin hating Joe... it's working well, lol. She just keeps getting cuntier and cuntier.

I love the show so far, I find it quite well-done and almost all of the cast is on point, particularly Michael Kelly (Byron Westfield). Season 2 definitely has Sicario/Day of vibes to it. Cruz seems a whole lot better looking too, lol.

At least Joe gave a great view of her naked buns. She and Kidman are so damn cocky especially dealing with the tuf guy macho voice DEA agent. Don't remember where I saw him in before.

Skeleton Crew was too slow to get interesting, so turned it off after half of first episode.

Never did get back to watching Agatha after maybe two episodes.

This is crazy. The black ranger is almost 55 and looks 30.

That is amazing.

All such terrible actors, but man I loved that show longer than I probably should have.

I´m liking Travellers on Netflix.
Decent time travel show.

It has the actor that played Harry Maybourne in SG-1.
Funny guy.

Edit : And now Amanda Tapping in season 2 ?
Nice
Season 2 has a better flow than Season 1

Penguin was really great from start to end. Give Colin Farrel all of the awards. That's how you properly set up a villain for a live action movie. They did a masterful job of setting up the vibe of Gotham.

Superman and Lois
The series just ended. It had it's share of issues, but it also had a lot of heart. The actors that play Superman and Lois are were great. They have great chemistry together, and I think they both do a good job of showing why these are timeless characters.
A big issue I've seen in a lot of the movies with Superman is that he lacks personality and any real sense of self. His Clark Kent just feels like an alter ego/acting job, and not who he really is. And then Superman is just punching something during the other parts of the movie---so you just never get to see a real character.
But what made this show good, is that you are seeing Clark Kent as a father and husband---so, now you do actually get to see him as who he really is, and Superman is just the "job". Some of the best scenes in this show is seeing Clark interact with his family or normal people knowing what he could really do.

Season 3 was really shaping up to being super interesting, so I was looking forward to this Final season 4. (Apparently DC studios wanted to kill the show so that it doesn't conflict with their movies) Unfortunately, they shat the bed for the most part. It felt rushed, and there was a lot of parts of the story that just didn't make sense. There were some fragments of greatness, and an outline that could have been so much better if it were filled in properly. But the end result was disappointing. They introduce Lex Luthor to the show at the end of Season 3, but the story needed more time to fill out.
It did give a nice send off in the final episode though. And their Doomsday > Batman v Superman Doomsday.

Walking Dead : Daryl in France ----- Season 2 was garbage. Very disappointing because I thought the first season was interesting. It was hitting on some things you don't typically see in the zombie genre, so I had hoped it continue going that way, but, no, this was just boring.

Has anyone else here been watching From? I'll be goddamned if this isn't the best show i've seen in a long ass time. Just finished the S3 finale, and if they don't get renewed for a 4th I am going to lose my absolute fucking mind

Just finished this today. Definitely one of my fave shows in recent times.

I thought it was okay. I was just disappointed that Daryl can never have nice things happen for him, especially for all that he has been through before coming to France. Carol could have taken a completely different path to get Ash to comply with her request, but nope. Gotta create conflict and drama no matter what.

Yeah, I mean, it was watchable, so just judging it on its own merits, it was okay.
But I was interested in the whole Messiah thing they were doing in Season 1, and had hoped that that would have played a bigger part in Season 2. The idea of God and what people believe in a zombie world was something different.
More Carol and Daryl save each other was just a story we've already seen.

Sorta binged 3 episodes of Showtime's The Agency. Need to see why Magneto keeps having sexual relations with the woman.

I don't know why I keep giving Disney a chance. Besides Andor, every other thing they have done has been boring or woke garbage. I started Skeleton Crew because I went in with zero expectations and needed something to kill time as I mostly watch stuff with the wife. This started out as the typical Disney DEI bullshit---Grab someone of every race, the females have the edge. To Be expected. But it's made for kids. It actually has a decent feel and world building. But the protagonists are children. Like maybe 12. So it feels silly and kiddish. This would be good to watch if you have small kids, but as an adult it's a skip.
