We're currently watching The Last Thing He Told Me and Undercover Underage. TLTHTME is decent and will hopefully pickup in future episodes. UU is really good. I don't see how the folks involved aren't scarred for life in some capacity after seeing some of the things they have.

That show was done very well. I was bummed to hear that no season 3 was being made. The 2 seasons that we were able to see was top notch, though.

Just started watching “The Gryphon” on Amazon prime. I’m 2 episodes in. It’s German and dubbed to English but it’s a cool show. A teenage boy is able to travel back and forth between the real world and an alternate mythical world ruled by evil beings that want to enslave humanity and it’s on this boy to save his brother and put a stop to it while balancing his regular life on earth dealing with high school stuff and being an outcast and working at a record store.

Yellowstone - overrated but entertaining nonetheless.

Some similarities but I only saw season 1 of stranger things. Stranger things seemed like it had more intriguing and mysterious stuff going on where as the gryphon is more straightforward simplistic young adult type stuff where it gets straight to the battling between good and evil. But im also only 2 episodes into this as well

I found a pretty good deal online for GoT House of the Dragon on 4K BluRay for roughly $25. Pretty damn good deal for a TV series on 4K, when most new movies are still around that price.

I've heard good things and avoided spoilers.

Watched the first episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds last night and it slapped. 10/10 Star Trek material. Loved it. I was shocked it was a spinoff of Discovery which always seemed so stupid, but it seems like they did a reboot to bring it back to ST style? They even restored Klingons to their rightful glory.

I was looking for a thread on 'Succession'.
I just finished the series, and it was a really goood watch despite not a single person on that show being likable.
I thought the ending was pretty terrible though. I am getting tired of TV shows--movie writers that think announcing "this thing/person doesnt make sense!" somehow excuses it being there. The thing YOU wrote doesnt make sense, admitting it doesnt make me forget that.

I like House of the Dragon but take away the fantasy elements, the brutality and the few action it has, most of the times it feels like a soap opera in medieval setting.

That also applies to Game of Thrones.

When it increased the presence of the fantasy elements... the white walkers, dragons, sorceresses, etc... that's when the show went to shit, ironically.

So I'm all for it staying a medieval soap opera... with incest... as long as it wants.

It's a different soap opera than Game of Thrones. The drama and political intrigue in GoT is vastly superior. HotD felt like a telenovela-ish to me, especially after the first few episodes. Anyway, I'm not trying to discourage you. I think I'm in the minority with my issues on it. So enjoy the show.

I'm 5 episodes in so far, and I'm keeping in mind this is the 1st season and GoT took a few seasons to get up to 10/10 quality and the prior seasons benefitted retroactively from the slow acceleration.

Hopefully the producers & writers have learned from the mistakes made by the later seasons of GoT, and they have the vast majority of everything already mapped out.
