Anyone watching Silo? It's basically a Fallout series in a giant shelter without the retro futurism and the fact no one (outside a few surely...) knows what happened in the past. 140 years ago, there was some sort of uprising, and all data/info regarding the past was either destroyed or confiscated. It's illegal to have any kind of tech (called relics) from that time period.
The outside world is uninhabitable and the rulers at the top have some dark secrets. The cast is great, as is the setting/world building. It's a bit of a slow burn, so we'll have to see if they can stick the landing, but so far it has my attention.
I just started this, I tend to like these post apocalyptic shows
I'm not sure if the world is inhabitable like they say in the show...i mean we see birds flying. Shouldn't there be no life? My original theory was that they poison the oxygen tank and it kills them when they go cleaning

for episode 6, i thought it was interesting to learn more about her boyfriend, learn why he was killed. and found it interesting just getting into the psyche of Juliette when she saw the travel book. Forget that these people never seen the forest (although they do have a garden), dirt roads, the ocean, etc. Just thinking of her seeing it all for the first time made me think more about their world and what it would be like to live in a Silo.
And Billings, does he have parkinson?

Cool, I'm saving ep 6 for when 7 comes out, I like watching at least two at a time.
I know the world actually looks habitable, I just wanted viewers to find that out for themselves when they see the fuckery with the screen, and some of the other scenes.
Yeah boar on the floor episode was nuts. I'm now on the episode where Logan physically smacked Roman. I like the fact that the immediate reaction of Ken and Shiv was to protect Roman and admonish their dad's actions. It just shows that despite all the bullshit and shenanigans, the siblings genuinely care for each other. (But there's a lot of seasons left, so I feel that there will be more sibling feuds coming up)

Yeah, thats one thing i don't like about the other streaming platforms...they release new episodes via cable styles, unlike Netfilx, where they release it all at once.
I am enjoying the show though, just annoyed have to wait every Friday to see a new episode, hahaha
I read the book summary on wiki, i put it in spoilers if you are interested.
the book Wool, which the show is based off, a nuclear war did actually happen, thats when i figured that the people are dying from radiation poisoning. Planet life can survive in that kind of environment...just look around Cherybol.

Yeah, it hadn't really clicked in my head 100% that these people really don't know anything at all about the outside world until I saw her looking at that travel book. They don't even know what stars are.
That was an unexpected twist with the boyfriend. I do like that they aren't afraid to kill characters and take the story in unexpected ways.
Great season 2 finale indeed. It kinda looked Logan was smiling at the end and proud of Kendall for doing what he did. And it seemed in retrospect Logan's comment about Kendall not being a killer was a test, a test if Ken would rise to the challenge. Loved it, can't wait for season 3.
It's the story of the woman and her coworkers that helped hide Anne Frank and her family.
I came away with mixed feelings on this. It is well acted, and I'll watch anything with Liev Schreiber, but there is so much stupidity that happens with the characters and their actions that it is hard to stay in the story. We can see how intense and dire the situation is, the characters are telling us this as well, but over and over again they don't act like they're in the danger that they all are in.
The actress that played Anne is really good, and I wish she had had more screen time than what she got...same with Liev as Otto Frank.
Good watch overall though.

When Kendall arrived at the building for the press conference, I was half-expecting him to stab his father in the back because that would make sense for a great season finale.

Thanks for putting the wiki in spoilers, I want to know as little as possible. You can always see it from replies, so I'm trying to keep my eyes away lol.
Just watched 6 and 7, this is awesome. I kinda wish they didn't show a part of their hand in the first couple of episodes, but I'm so damn curious to know where they are going with things.
I haven't been this intrigued by a recent show since the Expanse and Severance.
