Could still happen.

“I do know that Bruno has written a movie script,” McKidd tells us in 2020. “It’s sat on a shelf for a long, long time and it’s all about what happens after season 2. Fifteen years have gone by, and Vorenus didn’t die. Vorenus is alive and well but has been in hiding for many years, protecting the young boy [Caesarion], who is now a man. I still feel like we should revisit that.

Or in older articles the showrunner wanted to do one off adventure/s about those 2 up north after they left Rome. iirc

So there is some hope! lol! Lucius couldn't die. I'm glad. lol!

Finished season one of SUCCESSION. Lol what a bunch of asshole characters, all of them. But the biggest douchebag is Logan Roy (Brian Cox). Wanted him to go down so bad. Got so frustrated when he survived being removed from being CEO and thwarted the takeover bid. I think I'm going to be continuing feeling very frustrated with the next few seasons regarding Logan Roy.

Glad to see Matthew Macfadyen's success on the show and he's getting more recognition but I'm a bit conflicted because his role on Succession (which he is great in it) is so opposite of what I had hoped for him back in 2012 when I fancasted him as Victor Von Doom.

The wife and I have been watching The Diplomat on Netflix.

I really love Keri Russell in these types of roles. She was excellent on The Americans, and she is absolutely nailing her role in The Diplomat as well. Opposite Keri Russell is Rufus Sewell, who I was an instant fan of when I watched him on The Man in the High Castle. He is great in his role as well, portraying her husband. Michael McKean as President Rayburn is like the perfect fit as well. Whenever I see him on screen, I call him President Chuck. lol!

I am only 3 episodes in, but love it so far. It's got some laugh out loud scenes as well as interesting political dynamics. I am looking forward to finishing out the series over the weekend.

I agree with everything you said. I just finished the series today. I loved the Americans so watching this was a no brainer. Definitely more humor in the Diplomat but that doesn't take away from the drama. Be sure to listen during the closing credits of the final episode. No word on if there will be a second season yet, but I really hope there will.

I finished Snowfall last night and the last season was garbage with last 2 episodes being specially awful. What a shame.

I would still recommend the show because seasons 1 to 3 were great.

Yeah. First half of that series was addicting and something I'd watch again with a friend. The writing steadily declined in the last two seasons though.

I was really bummed when avi got killed off. He was the most interesting character, but his death was just a sign of things to come as they ended up killing tons of important characters in the last season.

I'm almost done with season 2 of ted lasso and...

I don't like the turn it's taking. It's becoming more of an artsy psychological drama than a comedy/drama. I loved season one when it was mostly optimistic comedy with just a sprinkle of drama mixed in. Some of these episodes in season 2 are really bleak and a complete 180 from the tone that made season one so special. That's not to say that it's bad, but it's just not what season one taught me to expect and look forward to from this show

I started watching Citadel. It sucks giant donkey balls*. It's so bad it almost looks like a parody. They had a $300M budget btw.

*Is it a giant donkey with normal sized balls or giant balls on a normal donkey? Wouldn't you like to know.

Did not like the first two episodes of CITADEL also. Super disappointed.

Tried the first two episodes of MRS. DAVIS. Didn't quite like it and probably won't continue watching.

I also almost did. But it get progressively better each ep, in 4th and 5th it kinda hits its stride. Perhaps not great but fun, lots of entertaining dialogues and witty humor.

Just finished the show last night, Jack. Loved it!! That was quite a cliffhanger ending. lol!

That dirty Trowbridge!!! He knew it all along that it was a false flag op. Unless there is someone else pulling the strings, but he seems like the likely culprit. But what a scandal if the PM was the one orchestrating it all! The explosion at the end, I think only ends up killing Ronnie and the Tory rep. I think Hal and Stuart were probably far enough to only get some superficial injuries. At least I hope that is the case. They both play their roles perfectly. And I have to say again, I am such a fan of Rufus Sewell! I absolutely love his character and hope they don't kill him off after 1 season. His character is the perfect opposite to Kate. I dig their dynamic and honesty don't really care for the flirtatious relationship she developed with Dennings.

Some other last thoughts, the responsible party had to be targeting Hal as well with that car bomb. And in the credits, the comms sounded like they lost the signal, but for what exactly, I am not sure. I can't tell if it was the bug on Dennings phone, or if it was the op to get Lenkov.

Hopefully we hear of a season 2 soon!!

Sounds like Babylon 5 may be getting resurrected.
I never really watched it, but it is unsurprising they would try to resurrect an old show with a cult following. The old concepts seem to be making the most money these days.

It would be nice to see that show with decent effects, but I'm skeptical they'll ever be able to replace Jurasik and Katsulas.

They were the Vorenus and Pullo of science fiction television. Historic performances.

The series reboot/reimagining is in limbo last JMS told us, but there is an animated movie coming out soon, as it's already been made. It's not my first choice, but I'll take anything Babylon 5 related, so long as JMS is involved.

At this point, I'd rather they just remake the CGI/effects and use the widescreen footage they shot on film for live action. I have a 1080p upscale torrent of it, and the live action looks pristine. It gets tricky when characters are in front of a green screen, but it would be worth it just to have the og cast, as you're not replacing Londo and G'Kar, two incredibly underrated performances/character arcs.

They could do a mix of new and old, with Sheridan recounting what happened as he sets sail into the outer rim, like he did at the end of S5, or one of the movies.

The difference with this one, compared to a lot of reboots, is that original creator/writer would be at the helm of any remake.

You should def watch it. Don't let the obvious smaller budget/dated effects and slow start deter you, it's an incredible series. The foreshadowing, world build building, and eventual reveals/payoffs, is masterclass. Some of the acting isn't the best, but the best acting is as good as anything ever put on a screen.

This has to be one of the worst pieces of shit endings to a good series in history of television. It made no sense at all. Didn´t fit the arc of Franklin´s character. Fucking cheap messaging.
I still think it is a good show but it fucked my opinion of the entire series .
