Can't wait for season 2. The first season was terrific.
The Great-
Satirical series about Catherine the Great and Peter played by Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. Only an episode in but it's pretty damn funny. Interesting combination of period piece, satire, and zany humor. Yet then it will get dead serious in spots. It owes A LOT to the movie The Favourite.
Anybody else watching THE TITAN GAMES Season 2 premiere? Love the new format with the new Titan competitors. Tyron Woodley is one of the Titans. American Ninja Warrior's Jessie Graff is here also. Jessie would probably do well in the Mount Olympus contest since obstacle racing is her forte.

It was @LoioshWho was it here was a gigantic fan of Mr Inbetween?
Dude's a saviour. What a find.It was @Loiosh
Just finished the first season.
It had its ups and downs. I enjoyed it, but there were times I found my attention drifting. Compared to similar things recently, Harlots (Hulu) and Will (TNT), probably better than Will but not as quite as fun as Harlots (despite Harlots not being a comedy)
Im not a huge fan of Nicholas Hoult and he basically seemed to be playing his original Tony character from Skins. Maybe thats why he got the job. They wanted Tony...
Yeh, i was finding myself watching the first fifteen minutes of the episode, drifting off a bit, then re engaging for the final ten minute .im halfway through.
I find with a lot of these streaming shows I’ve seen lately, the issue is one of redundancy. It starts out feeling fresh and fun and then it seems like you’re repeating the same kind of character interactions, gags, one-liners, put downs, and it becomes all too familiar and repetitive.
I’m still liking it but, like some other shows I’ve watched lately, I thought it was going to be better than it seems to currently be.
Mrs. America on Hulu is another one like that. It started out really good but then it became a bit repetitive. Then you’ll get something fresh and interesting on an episode that reminds you of how good it started.
Godless is one of the few shows I’ve watched recently that ended as awesome as it started.
Finished episode one of THE GREAT and really liked it. Sad to hear from you that the quality won't be consistent throughout. But I will still watch the rest of the episodes.im halfway through.

You and I are bonded forever. Actual tears with laughter. The patio door, the birds and bees discussion, it was compleley blinding. Thank you.Probably my favorite show of the last five years.

I wish it could have gone out on a higher less depressing note. That and the break up are its only imperfections. I've watched A LOT of TV during lockdown but that got me hooked within the first minute. Kind of had a clue that guy was going to be turfed off that balcony, when he did I knew it was going to be a fun ride. The final to season two almost put me into a grief coma. My chest hurts just thinking about it.
"I'll miss you is ozzie for "I love you" when it's two men who don't want to sound gay. When I watched that episode again after hearing that it hit even harder.
