Binge watching Better Call...
It took about 3 episodes to get into, but it’s brilliant. I’m in season 4 midway and the relationship/character development is great.

Series doesn’t disappoint in living
Up to acclaim so far.

She is fucking epic. Couple of things she did in the last season set my ASMR off something fierce, I was tinging everywhere.

Just finished it. Was great.
Chuck and her are different sides of the same coin with Jimmy In being his main source exterior locus of approval.
I think at some point next arc might be him becoming his own man. Puck/ego to Man/self integration story arc or more likely an Icarus ending; Ie Cinnabon manager/witsec.

Really a great show. Looking forward to 6.

First episode of SNOWPIERCER was good. I love the movie but I'm also glad that we get to explore the world in more detail in the TV series. First episode's ending was a good surprise.

im struggling to get into Ozark. think im on episdoe 4 or 5 of season 1, but it just has things that annoy me - the blue/grey filters etc. Does it ever not look like there is something wrong with my TV?

I dont care if you criticize I just dont understand why someone would watch 3 seasons of something they dont like. That's a big waste of time.

I had exactly the same discussion recently with someone about the Expanse.
They were moaning about things in the first and second season and were almost at the end of the 3rd and were moaning about that too. How they hated David Strathairn, the belter accents all sorts of things......

No one forces you to watch it, if you don't like it then don't watch it.

I barely make it through episode 1 of shows I don't like, occasionally I'll make it to 2 of 3 episodes but not 2 or 3 seasons. I couldn't stand 'You', I've no idea if s2 was better or worse than s1 or if the final episode of each season was a real cliffhanger as I didn't even make it to the end of the first episode before turning it off.

I just watched all 13 episodes of For Life over the last few days. It wasn't bad and British lead actors playing lead Americans.....

I'm sure 50 Cent producing/being in it will put some people off but not me and I liked Power too (but not the ending). Having it replaced by a spin off show with all the worst characters from the original but none of the good ones seems insane.

Is there any way you lot can watch Gangs of London? I watched all of them a couple of weeks ago but damn it's violent.
If you saw Banshee (both shows are produced by Cinemax) it's like someone decided that the fight scenes from Banshee, which were previously the most violent things I can recall seeing on television, were a bit tame and they've turned them up to 11 for Gangs of London.

It had a twist which I didn't see coming at all too which is unusual.

I decided to give it a go after reading this.
I've never seen the film and the whole concept of the show seems a bit strange but Jennifer Connelly in a TV show and after one episode I want to see the next one so that's promising.

What do cops and football players have in common?

Watched all 10 episodes of White Lines yesterday, in bed. Way over the top escapism, it was a riot.
Daniel Mays is one of my favourite actors, he was brilliant.

Loved it.

Finished The Last Kingdom. It was surprisingly good. Now I'm enthralled with the 9th/10th century danish/celtic Vikings and Saxons. Going to go ahead and watch Vikings now.

For anyone who likes shows about prison.. there is one really really good from my country called El Marginal

Action packed, solid acting, good storyline and you can actually get to know how prisons here work.

Pretty sure you can find it on Netflix. It's available at least in Netflix Argentina and France.

HOLEY MOLEY is back for season 2. Yaaay! This show just cheers me up. That windmill obstacle is brutal and looks painful (but I still lol'd).

The Handmaids Tale and Outlander, I gave them a few episodes before it was a no.

But I can't think of anything were I'd keep watching it season after season if I didn't like it. The Flash/The Arrow and associated Flash Universe shows I watched for a while then stopped with all of them, not because I hated s1 or s2 but because the multiverse nonsense they started to use for all their story-lines got ridiculous.

The Great-

Satirical series about Catherine the Great and Peter played by Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. Only an episode in but it's pretty damn funny. Interesting combination of period piece, satire, and zany humor. Yet then it will get dead serious in spots. It owes A LOT to the movie The Favourite.

It’s not even close.
I’m on season 2 episode 10 of Breaking Bad and not near as relatable or entertaining for me as Saul. I’m not near as captivated; I’m going to keep watching as it may get better.

Finished ‘’caliphate’’ yesterday. A Swedish Netflix original about radicalization of people into IS warriors. It’s also has an American dub if foreign languages aren’t for you.

I recommend it due to great writing. The last episode alone is some of the best television I watched in a good while.

I'm 3 into it today (the end of episode 3 was quite unexpected), just about to start ep4 and planning to watch them all back to back.

I've got a bit of a minor problem with the time lines. Ok so the murder is meant to be 22 years ago and the main timeline seems to be now (wireless headphones and the phones) so the early scenes must be late 90's BUT the music and clothes from that timeline are all late 80's/early 90's.

It's taken me a bit of a while to get used to Laura Haddock doing a Manchester accent too as I know what she really sounds like and hearing her speak like that is odd. I get why they used characters from Manchester even if it's a bit lazy but once they'd cast it they should have reset it somewhere else or in some unnamed town/city in England as some of the accents aren't that convincing.

Surprisingly the series is created/written by a Spanish writer.

Arrow is a good example of something I stuck with too long. I watched for a few seasons and I'm not sure why. Pretty much all superhero stuff is like that for me, I just need to basically drop the genre. It's not my cup o tea.
