Currently watching " The Last Frontier " .
Think of Con Air with a CIA twist.

Snowfall spin-off pilot ordered at FX. It's about recovering addicts Leon & Wanda trying to make westcoast Hip Hop mainstream in the '90s.

I loved Snowfall, and I welcome this with open arms.

Watching spartacus

Suprised how good wring is for this type of show

Yeah I watched it quite some time back (well I watched the prequel shows actually, i don't think i ever watched the whole of the actual Spartacus revolt series), its cheesy and schlocky and it took me a bit of time to get used to the CGI tones, but the plotting and characters are pretty good and the guy playing Batiatus is given some killer lines and he plays the role with real fucken gusto, he knocks it out of the park IMO

to this day I still say 'PISS and BLOOD!' when I', pissed off with something

BTW i have only just started on the 'Walking Dead' franchise. Its..... ok.... but I keep having to ignore the major plot-holes and problems with the world-building

Oh, you'll regret this about halfway through. The spin-offs are actually pretty decent (Not Dead City)

thanks, yeah I only got through 2 seasons and have taken a pause. how far would you say is worth going with it?

I did start 'Fear the walking Dead', couple of episode in... worth persevering?

I also quite like the idea of the Daryl spinoff FWIW

I have taken my time getting through Snowfall as I often do with shows i really like, so as not to exhaust my enjoyment too early

No more Countdown which fucking sucks being it was left on such a cliffhanger. Probably my favourite new show of the year. I wondered how they were going to work around the unfortunate situation with Eric Dane.

I have quite enjoyed this. enjoyable nonsense with decent acting, Dane aside who was wooden as fuck. i guess whatever unfortunate situation you are alluding to may be behind his career-worst performance

I watched all of it out of spite, but started caring less about it around season 7 I think (maybe some of the hardcore viewers can be more precise).

I did enjoy Fear the... though, and liked the addition of Mo Collins (Stew's mom on Mad TV) and that chick from Dharma & Greg in the later seasons.

Daryl is a bit different as it takes place in Europe, but short seasons makes it more easily digested.

yeah I kinda sorta worked that out, i'll duly suspend disbelief for the plot-line that takes him there

I also started Z Nation, on that zombie tip. I quite like it, it takes itself much less seriously than Walking Dead, I like the tone (of the writing and the photography which is interestingly lit and I think maybe trying to enhance the kinda comic book tone, in a good way)

I enjoyed season one of Dept q. It was a nice detective series with an intriguing enough mystery, but what made it stand out for me was the somewhat "found family" cast of characters and their relationships with each other.

If you like a good time traveller show, I can recomend travellers.
Really a great role of Will

I finally watched Black Sails. It was fantastic.
I watched Marco Polo and really liked it.

I'm watching The Mighty Nein b/c I loved Vox Machina and it's basically the same show with many of the same voice actors.

I loved Z Nation. The theme is pretty damn good.
