The IBA is corrupt in financial matters. Has nothing to do with gender testing for athletes.
And FYI, the IOC is also super corrupt financially speaking. How do you not know this. Corruption is rampant in Olympic sports.
The IBA have been caught match fixing as well.
It doesn't matter if they haven't been caught specifically for anything to do with gender testing. There's enough evidence of their corruption and general red flags that there's no reason to believe anything they say or that there's anything they would not stoop to be involved in.
I never said I didn't know the IOC is corrupt either, so not sure why you think I didn't know that. They are certainly corrupt. That doesn't make the IBA any less so, does it?
The IOC being dumb enough to just go by what's said on a passport doesn't have any weight on the IBA's credibility whatsoever. It only speaks volume on their own, which is laughable in itself, as you obviously know.
The results are coming two independent labs. And if the CAS rules in favor of Imane, the IBA would have to abide by the decision.
That's why the CAS is independent and it's designed to be so. So that they would be impartial.
You can't have impartial results if the initial samples they're based on are from somewhere dodgy that the IBA set up. For it to mean anything. That's the issue.
And why would the IBA have to abide by any decisions? They're their own thing. They can do what they want. If they wanted to just run events in Russia and countries sympathetic to them like India again, there's nothing they can do that the CAS or anyone else can stop.
Really really doubt Imane will take a gender test.
When the initial controversy happened, Imane and the Taiwanese boxer could have easily taken gender tests on their own and erased all controversy. But they didn't.
I'm not saying she will or won't take the tests. I'm just saying wait until she has or hasn't rather than condemning her or anyone else based on results and accusations that started with the IBA.
Either way, the truth is going to be made clear soon enough now.
