International Tucker Carlson in Russia to interview Vladimir Putin UPDATE - Also Dugin

There was a time when even the most deplorable people in positions of power were granted exclusive interviews with the most recognizable journalist in this county.
Keeping the channels of communication closed is exactly what allows us to make a mental (us versus them) scenario. It also what keeps any possibility of peaceful solutions to war off the table. The premise that we cannot gain conference with out enemies.
That's not really true, but even if it was that is not the issue. The issue is there's nothing honest to be seen here, no honest participant. Tucker will most likely have a pretense of "asking tough questions" yes (the man is no fool), but he has no journalistic integrity and he isn't worthy of trust. If this interview happens, I see Tucker setting up softballs with Putin comfortably validating himself. A big circlejerk masquerading as an interview. Why else would either of them do it.

I'll reserve judgement until after the interview. So far Tucker hasn't proven to be anything other than a shill for himself, he may actually not let Putin off the hook.

I hope you're right but I think our guy Tucker is lining his pockets with Russian money (much like Alex Jones), so this isn't likely.

What's the issue? Are there a lot of conflicts where you should only be allowed to hear 1 side? The answer is yes for a lot of people. I don't believe anything Putin says, but to pretend nobody should be allowed to hear it, just give us hundreds of billions to fight him is ludicrous.

Do you think he'll ask him what kind of ice cream he likes, or what "enchants you about being president"? I mean that would be some really pathetic and sycophantic fake journalism, right?

Ah yes, totally comparable situations, a recently sworn in president being asked a light hearted question during a press briefing vs meeting a leader of a hostile nation currently engaged in war crimes and an illegal occupation against a sovereign neighbour nation, to fellate his ego as well as to promote his fascist propaganda to the west...

You can @ me again after Tucker spends 70% of the "interview" talking to Putin about the evils of wokeism

Feel free to post all the similar "light hearted questions for a recently sworn in president" given when Trump was sworn in.

It's ok, you can just admit you're an emotional wreck who wants only affirmation. It's not like we didn't already know that was the case.

Why not wait until the interview to pass judgement? Oh wait this is Sherdog, nevermind.

Just like when Dennis Rodman visited that guy in North Korea. Pretend like he a journalist but it's propaganda.

The panic wrestling over actual journalism is hillarious.

What tough questions would you like Tucker to ask Putin?

Would you like to predict anything so when it doesn't happen we can all laugh at you?

Anyway, remember that time a few months back where Tucker got fired from Fox for lying to his viewers and cost the network more than $750 million? It was right before you changed your name in shame and tried to blame it on a Mod.

So long as he doesn't softball him, I'd love to see this.

We can all form our own opinions on Putin's words, how is this interview a bad thing?

The liberals in this thread are getting angry and triggered. They really don't want to see Putin speak because they are afraid of being wrong about him. They already have Putin in a box inside their little brains.

Bottom line, liberals are scared and confused.
