I bet the UFC had to bend over and grab their ankles on this deal. If they didn't get on TSN, they would likely have been out of Canada. The Fight Network would not have been viable at all.

In the eyes of most Canadians: TSN > Sportsnet.

TSN has an amazing team, and whenever they get into a new sport, like they have done with the EPL, they bring in guys who know their stuff. Wouldnt surprise me at all of a Showdown Joe moves over.

TSN still has a key role in hockey with regional games for the Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators, but these are ALL weekday nights.

TSN also shows EPL on weekend mornings

been rumored for months. TSN needs content after losing the NHL package to Rogers. Makes no different to me really as I had all Rogers channels and I have all TSN channels.

TSN doesn't have nearly the penetration Rogers does. This sounds like a downgrade to me.

Honestly this is the only factor I care about.

The fact that TSN has nothing better than UFC now hopefully means it won't be bumped for dumb stuff like Smackdown like SN360 used to do.
