TSN looks to be the new home for UFC in Canada

Well, yeah, that is the obvious thing holding it back.

I just think it is a shame that The Fight Network, which is doing a really good job with their content, the one place where the UFC would be treated as it should be, is denied in favor of channels that treat MMA as a retard sport.

Why? The Fight Network would give the UFC the utmost dedication, unlike other sports channels where the UFC is ranked behind nearly everything.

The fight network is not in HD and I don't want to subscribe to a bunch of shitty non HD channels just to watch the prelims and fox cards, would not burgle!

I wish it was TSN with the 12 year NHL contract. Their broadcast team was so good. UFC has always gone over well on OTR so we might get some good interviews even though Landsberg is a total weirdo.

Yeah. I was amused when Sportsnet picked up TSN's shittiest colour guy in Mike Johnson for their new deal. Ferraro is miles better than anyone on CBC or SNet.

And on Telus, at least, you can subscribe to it individually for like 3 bucks a month. Would def burgle.

Sounds good to me. TSN has all five of their channels in my basic TV package. I've had to pay extra for the sports package with Sportsnet360, so it will be good to be able to cancel that. Plus, there's a good chance TSN won't compress and/or cut off the screen while running an annoying banner of scores and other irrelevant shit throughout live events like Sportsnet does.

I've been watching both for years and for me TSN was considered a step up until the past couple with Sportsnet expanding and getting the NHL contract. Still they have the better personalities and I'm sure anyone that watched during Jay and Dans time there will agree. That's without even getting into the more attractive women hosts TSN has like Kate and Natasha. Otherwise they both give you the same info and unfortunately I'm not expecting TSN to give the UFC much of a push. And Ferraro is awesome and is what this sport needs in a commentator.

In the eyes of most Canadians: TSN > Sportsnet.

TSN has an amazing team, and whenever they get into a new sport, like they have done with the EPL, they bring in guys who know their stuff. Wouldnt surprise me at all of a Showdown Joe moves over.

TSN still has a key role in hockey with regional games for the Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators, but these are ALL weekday nights.

TSN also shows EPL on weekend mornings

They are lacking for Saturday night material -- now they have it

EPL is cool and it has grown in popularity, but it has to be small potatoes in terms of ratings.
