Trump's Speech to Congress

The rebuttals are always that way (they always happen following the State of the Union address). Since they have to start immediately following the President's address, it pretty much makes the rebuttal pointless. Calling it a rebuttal is actually a bit stupid, they might as well just call it "Now let's hear from the other guys."

Nobody ever remembers or talks about a rebuttal unless something silly happens like this:

I don't really like establishment Republicans that much, but sometimes your mouth gets dry when you are speaking. It happens.

He definitely wasn't fiscally conservative, wants to spend 1 trillion on US infrastructure, wants to increase the defense budget by 55 billion, doesn't want medicare/social security touched, and wants to do all of this while lowering taxes.

The plan isn't to spend $1T on infrastructure; it's to give ~$100B in tax breaks to private companies that are working on infrastructure projects (to do stuff they were going to do anyway--it's just a giveaway to big business). But, yeah, "fiscal conservative" doesn't actually mean fiscal conservative; it just means "supports upward redistribution of wealth."

That's what I believe too.

I think if you put good kids with good parent in an inner city school, that school will turn into a good school.

They have to pay those inner city teachers more money cause some teachers don't want to deal with those kids.

It's obvious common sense. But we are supposed to navigate around that to prevent racism and things like that. Not saying a certain amount of tact when talking about issues isn't important, but sometimes a problem really needs solving, and only truth can identify the problem that needs to be fixed in the first place.

I realized why the Dems bolted for doors after Trump's speech. To get jump start on Ash Wednesday to repent for stuff they said about Donald Trump! Hallelujah!

They are awful because of the way the parents there raise their kids. Next step in truth is calling them out. The kids and parents in an area make a school.. Period.

I agree, but it's become a combination of both. The parents don't give a shit>the kids don't give a shit>the teachers don't give a shit>the state doesn't give a shit.

I think giving the option to the kids that want to learn the chance to go to a charter school and have a better learning enviroment is still a good thing though. The shitty parents aren't going to make an effort or take the time to fill out the paper work anyway.

Comparing him to Hitler is ridiculous.

Although they probably both have/had micro penises.

People who dont like trump often say stuff like this, but being orange, ugly, stupid, bad in bed, having a "micro penis", makes consistantly banging hotties for decades all the more impressive.

Seriously, by no metric is Trump classier than Obama -- you cannot possibly say that.

Obama was inoffensive, but he was so so so so fake. Im a born chicagoan and believe me never trust a word of any politician who comes up here.

Money talks, doesn't matter how small your dick is. Bitches will always bone for the wallet size.

Not sure what's going on I have him on ignore.

Me too. Never seen Slippery make a serious post. His whole reason for being here appears to be to express anger at people who are smarter than him, which is most people.

Tell that to the nerds in silicon valley. Money can get you in the door, and definitely give you access to better quality poon, but in the end its up to you.

Silicon Valley isn't totally filled 100 percent with nerds these days. I've been a software engineer for 12 years. Not the same same anymore with this group. The new blood are fully capable.

It is up to the person the end, they gotta grab em by the pussy.

of course Trump lied a bunch of times but at least he was intelligible.
Such as?

You're going to have to provide examples, otherwise that which is asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

But let's not grade him on a curve, it was much worse than past president's speeches.
This is just wrong. Trump gave the best speech of any President that has served in the 21st century.

Trumps praise of a fallen soldier, and the tearful receiving of applause by the soldiers widow will be positively remembered for decades to come. Your partisanship is preventing you from observing objectively.

You can look for yourself. A couple of fact-checked statements are sort of true, but objectively, there is no way to deny that he deliberately said a lot of untrue things (the actual definition of lying--by the right-wing hivemind definition, correcting the record is probably lying).
