Not really,not that I care for CNN or anything but I just flipped through channel and they are actually giving him a lot of props.

He definitely wasn't fiscally conservative, wants to spend 1 trillion on US infrastructure, wants to increase the defense budget by 55 billion, doesn't want medicare/social security touched, and wants to do all of this while lowering taxes.

I said republican, not fiscally conservative. There has not been a fiscally conservative party in quite awhile.

That was just the initial vibe I got immediately following the speech. They all seemed unsure on how to react. I think that old man's rebuttal might've had an effect on them. They weren't too impressed, and perhaps they didn't want to come off like he did. They've all calmed down. I think they actually had a moment of clarity, and felt it would be better to not be bitter about this, and give credit where it's due.

This fair assessment of Trump CNN is giving, should last until morning. Then it's back to "RUSSIA!!!"
 
It wasn't terrible, it wasn't amazing.

He's still a traitor who is going to be exposed.

I have to admit, he was at least doing a reasonable impression of a competent leader. He should definitely let other people write his speeches more often. Even content-free, standard SOTU speeches are a yuge improvement over his deranged free verse. It's literally better for America if he stops using his own words.

You know what, you've been taking a thrashing in here lately, with several good, intelligent posters just straight up telling you how bad you are with logic & argument. I'm gonna let you have this one. I gave a buck to muscular dystrophy this morning, and this is a buck to you.
 
Time to just abolish the presidency and make Trump dictator.
