He took presidential records that didn’t belong to him, some of which were TS, his team lied about it, and he has been all over the place in his explanations. This isn’t debatable. Whether he gets prosecuted for these criminal acts doesn’t make them not criminal.

Laws don't apply to them the way they do us. Presidents and politicians get away with things that we don't.
Look at how the system treats this judge. If this is the way they treat a judge, then Trump's situation is basically an overdue library book. The fact that they're going after Trump for something like this shows how weaponized the system has become and how desperate they are.

that moment when you try to play off an overdue library book as no different then stealing classified and top secret documents and hiding them inside desks and pool room closets inside of your place of residence where foreign agents are known to roam around in, and then fighting the NRA and ignoring their requests for over a year just to have the courts issue a subpeona just so they can recover their property, which you still defied, leading to them to have to get a federal judge to sign off on a search warrant just to come and recover their property off of your premesis, which you lied to the feds and told them in sworn statements that you didnt have on your property but they found on your property.
uh huh. no worse than jaywalking or forgetting to rewind that VHS tape before bringing it back to blockbuster. or being a big old lazy bones and leaving your shopping cart right next to your car before driving away like a big jerk when you could have just brought it back to the cart corral.
after all, we all steal top secret documents from the government and hide them in our closets. is normal. whats the big deal.......BUT HILLARIES EMAILS!! LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP! Presidents are above the law for small shit like this.
If an FBI agent did this they'd be in trouble.
If we did we'd be in prison for 20+ years.
These have always been the standards. Presidents get extra fries and don't get parking tickets or have to wait in line, that's just how it is. Pretending otherwise is silly and dishonest. If they're really dumb enough to go after Trump for this, they open up the floodgates to plenty of stupid shit in return and both parties will be at each other's throats wasting time, money, and resources getting nothing done for the country.
If they indict him, every future politician running for office will be campaigning to "GET THE OTHER GUY BACK!" instead of tackling real issues. You want this? Is destroying the caricature of Trump the media created and implanted in your heads worth ruining the country? Let the derangement go, Trump is not "getting let off", he'll be treated like every other President before him.
